Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR MR. B WITH INEFFECTIVE AIRWAY CLEARANCE DUE TO TUBERCULOSIS IN THE WORKING AREA OF TEMBUKU 1 PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER ABSTRACT Pulmonary tuberculosis is a chronic infection caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis that affects the lung parenchyma. This disease can cause disturbances in the patient’s airway, namely ineffective airway clearance due to excessive sputum production and an inability to cough effectively. This airway clearance disorder can interfere with the patient's daily activities.This research is a descriptive study using a case study approach on Mr. B, who experienced ineffective airway clearance due to tuberculosis in the working area of Tembuku 1 Community Health Center. Nursing care was carried out through the five stages of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The interventions provided included effective coughing exercises and airway management.The evaluation results showed a decrease in sputum production complaints and an improvement in the ability to cough effectively. B DENGAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF AKIBAT TUBERKULOSIS DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TEMBUKU 1 ABSTRAK Tuberkulosis paru merupakan infeksi kronis yang di sebabkan oleh Mycobacterium tuberculosis yang menyerang jaringan parenkim paru. Penyakit ini dapat menimbulkan gangguan pada jalan napas pasien yaitu bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif akibat produksi sputum berlebih dan tidak mampu batuk. Gangguan bersihan jalan napas ini dapat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari pasien. Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada Tn. B yang mengalami gangguan bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif akibat tuberkulosis di wilayah kerja puskesmas tembuku 1. Asuhan keperawatan dilakukan melalui lima tahap proses keperawatan: pengkajian, diagnosis, intervensi, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Intervensi yang diberikan mencakup latihan batuk efektif serta manajemen jalan napas. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya penurunan keluhan produksi sputum, serta peningkatan kemampuan batuk efektif.
