Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF URINE PROTEIN LEVELS IN PATIENTS WITH HYPERTENSION AT PUSKESMAS IV DENPASAR SELATAN ABSTRACT Hypertension is a condition in which blood vessels have high blood pressure (systolic blood pressure> 140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure> 90 mmHg) that persists, the higher the blood pressure, the harder the heart works. Hypertension contributes to kidney function damage, high blood pressure in hypertension forces the kidneys to work harder resulting in damage to kidney cells which is characterized by proteinuria. The type of research is descriptive with a cross- sectional approach. The study was conducted from January to April 2025. The study population was hypertensive patients with a sample size of 44 samples. The sample was taken using the sampling technique used, namely purposive sampling, carried out using the dipstick method. The characteristics of the respondents were mostly in the 45-65 year age category 19 people (43.2%), female 37 people (84.1%), normal IMT 38 people (86.4%), history of hypertension <5 years 34 people (77.3%), do not consume alcohol 42 people (95.5%), and routinely take medication 36 people (81.8%). Based on the results of the data, the majority of hypertensive respondents had negative urine protein levels, totaling 40 people (90.98%), but there were respondents who had positive urine protein levels (+) 3 people (6.8%) and positive (+++) 1 person (2.3%). Keywords: Hypertension, Urine Protein GAMBARAN KADAR PROTEIN URIN PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS IV DENPASAR SELATAN ABSTRAK Hipertensi adalah suatu kondisi dimana pembuluh darah memiliki tekanan darah tinggi (tekanan darah sistolik >140 mmHg atau tekanan darah diastolic > 90 mmHg) yang menetap, semakin tinggi tekanan darah maka semakin keras jantung bekerja. Hipertensi memberi kontribusi terhadap kerusakan fungsi ginjal, tekanan darah yang tinggi pada hipertensi memaksa ginjal untuk bekerja lebih berat mengakibatkan rusaknya sel ginjal yang ditandai dengan adanya proteinuria. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai April 2025. Populasi penelitian adalah penderita hipertensi dengan besar sampel penelitian sebanyak 44 sampel. Sampel diambil dengan Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling, dilakukan dengan metode carik celup. Karakteristik responden sebagian besar pada kategori usia 45-65 tahun 19 orang (43,2%), berjenis kelamin perempuan 37 orang (84,1%), IMT normal 38 orang (86,4%), riwayat hipertensi <5 tahun 34 orang (77,3%), tidak konsumsi alkohol 42 orang (95,5%), dan rutin minum obat 36 orang (81,8%). Berdasarkan data hasil mayoritas responden hipertensi memiliki kadar protein urin negatif berjumlah 40 orang (90,98%), tetapi ada responden yang memiliki kadar protein urin positif (+) 3 orang (6,8%) dan positif (+++) 1 orang (2,3%).
