Abstract

MIDWIFERY CARE OF MOTHER “GT” 22 YEARS OLD PRIMIGRAVID FROM PREGNANCY AGE 19 WEEKS 3 DAY UNTIL 42 DAYS FOR POSTPARTUM ABSTRACT The success of maternal health efforts can be measured, among other things, by the Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR). The Indonesian government has undertaken various efforts to reduce MMR and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) through the concept of continuous care (Continuity of Care) which can have a significant impact on the health of mothers and children. This midwifery care aims to determine the results of implementing midwifery care for a 22-year-old primigravida mother, "GT", and her baby from 19 weeks and 3 days of gestation until 42 days postpartum, in accordance with standards and in a physiological manner. Data collection methods were carried out primarily and secondarily through interviews, examinations, observations, and documentation. Care was provided from April 2024 to October 2024. Care was combined with complementary care to achieve optimal service results and increase comfort and minimize complaints. After being given comprehensive and continuous standard and complementary care, the pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum period, and the baby of mother "GT" were successful and proceeded physiologically without complications.
