Abstract

Kontrasepsi implan yaitu kontrasepsi terdiri dari 1 atau 2 kapsul kecil sekitar 4 cm yang dibuat dari bahan silastik mengandung hormon progesteron. Efektifitas kontrasepsi implan sangat tinggi dengan keberhasilan mencapai 99% mencegah kehamilan. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan alat kontrasepsi implan pada wanita usia subur diantaranya yaitu umur, paritas, dukungan suami, sikap dan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 Maret sampai 21 April 2025 di UPTD Puskesmas Petang 1 dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan wanita usia subur dengan sikap penggunaan kontrasepsi implan. Metode penelitian yaitu analitik dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 88 wanita usia subur yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Didapatkan hasil 61 (69,3%) responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan cukup dengan sikap penggunaan implan negatif sebanyak 60 (68,2%) responden dan sikap penggunaan implan positif sebanyak 1 (1,1%) respsonden, sedangkan 27 (30,7%) responden dengan responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik dengan sikap penggunaan implan positif sebanyak 27 (30,7%) responden. Uji analisis menggunakan uji statistik fisher’s exact didapatkan nilai signifikan 0,001 < 0,05 yang artinya ada hubungan tingkat pengetahuan wanita usia subur dengan sikap penggunaan kontrasepsi implan. Saran bagi penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan komunikasi dan persuasi kepada masyarakat sehingga masyarakat bersedia menggunakan kontrasepsi implan. Implant contraception is a contraceptive consisting of 1 or 2 small capsules of about 4 cm made of silastic material containing the hormone progesterone. The effectiveness of implantable contraception is very high with 99% success in preventing pregnancy. There are several factors that influence the selection of implantable contraceptives in women of childbearing age including age, parity, husband support, attitude and knowledge. This study was conducted on March 17 to April 21, 2025 with the aim of knowing the relationship between the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age with the attitude of using implantable contraceptives. The research method is analytic with cross sectional research design. Sampling using purposive sampling method with a total sample of 88 women of childbearing age who fit the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results obtained 61 (69.3%) respondents had a moderate level of knowledge with a negative implant use attitude as many as 60 (68.2%) respondents and a positive implant use attitude as many as 1 (1.1%) respondents, while 27 (30.7%) respondents with respondents had a good level of knowledge with a positive implant use attitude as many as 27 (30.7%) respondents. The analysis test using fisher's exact statistical test obtained a significant value of 0.001 < 0.05 which means there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age with the attitude of using implantable contraceptives. Suggestions for this study can be a material for communication and persuasion to the community so that people are willing to use implanted contraceptives.
