Abstract

SUPPORT OF HUSBANDS IN ACCEPTORS OF LONG-TERM CONTRACEPTIVE METHODS (MKJP) ABSTRACT Contraceptive services play an important role in efforts to prevent pregnancy and reduce maternal mortality. One of the effective strategies in the family planning program is the use of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception Methods (LARC) such as IUDs, implants, and sterilization, which have high effectiveness and long protection periods. This study aims to determine the description of the characteristics, knowledge, and support of husbands in family planning acceptors of long-acting reversible contraception methods in the work area of the UPTD Puskesmas III of the South Denpasar District Health Office. This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a cross sectional approach, researchers examined the description of the characteristics, knowledge and support of husbands in family planning acceptors of long-term contraceptive methods in the work area of the UPTD Puskesmas III Health Office of South Denpasar District. The results showed that most respondents were in the age range of 25-35 years (76%), had the latest high school / vocational high school education (70%), and worked as private employees (50%). Most respondents had a high income (52%). The majority of respondents had good knowledge about LARC (64%). The most common type of support given was informational and instrumental support (98%). The conclusion of this study is that the majority of respondents are at productive age, have a high level of education, work as private employees, and have a high income. Most respondents had good knowledge about LARC and husband's support, although quite good in general, still needs to be improved so that the implementation of LARC can run optimally. GAMBARAN KARAKTERISTIK, PENGETAHUAN DAN DUKUNGAN SUAMI PADA AKSEPTOR KB METODE KONTRASEPSI JANGKA PANJANG (MKJP) ABSTRAK Pelayanan kontrasepsi berperan penting dalam upaya pencegahan kehamilan serta pengurangan angka kematian ibu. Salah satu strategi efektif dalam program Keluarga Berencana adalah penggunaan Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang (MKJP) seperti IUD, implan, dan sterilisasi, yang memiliki efektivitas tinggi dan masa perlindungan panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik, pengetahuan, dan dukungan suami pada akseptor KB metode kontrasepsi jangka panjang di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas III Dinas Kesehatan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional, peneliti meneliti gambaran karakteristik, pengetahuan dan dukungan suami pada akseptor KB metode kontrasepsi jangka panjang di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas III Dinas Kesehatan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden berada pada rentang usia 25–35 tahun (76%), berpendidikan terakhir SMA/SMK (70%), dan bekerja sebagai karyawan swasta (50%). Sebagian besar responden memiliki penghasilan tinggi (52%). Mayoritas responden memiliki pengetahuan baik mengenai MKJP (64%). Jenis dukungan yang paling banyak diberikan adalah dukungan informasional dan instrumental (98%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini mayoritas responden berada pada usia produktif, memiliki tingkat pendidikan tinggi, bekerja sebagai karyawan swasta, dan berpenghasilan tinggi. Sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang MKJP dan dukungan suami, meskipun cukup baik secara umum, masih perlu ditingkatkan agar implementasi MKJP dapat berjalan optimal.
