Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES ABOUT REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH WITH PREMARITAL SEX BEHAVIOR IN TEENAGERS AT SMKN 1 TEGALLALANG ABSTRACT The teenagers growth and development has a potential cause to negative behavior related to premarital sex behavior. Knowledge and attitudes about reproductive health are the basis for teenage behavior. This study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about reproductive health and premarital sex behavior teenagers at SMKN 1 Tegallalang. This study was a cross sectional approach using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. The number of samples was 73 people. Data collected on March to April 2025.The analysis technique used the Spearman Rank test. The results showed that most of the teenagers in SMKN 1 Tegallalang had good knowledge about reproductive health (63.0%) with a positive attitude (64.4%) and good premarital sex behavior (49.3%). The Spearman Rank test showed that the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards premarital sexual behavior was p-value 0.009 and p-value 0.017. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes about reproductive health and premarital sex behavior in adolescents at SMK N 1 Tegallalang in 2025. It is recommended to school health workers to jointly improve the provision of education related to reproductive health in adolescents so that adolescent premarital sex behavior can be properly controlled.
