Abstract
GAMBARAN KADAR ASAM URAT PADA PEMINUM ARAK DI DESA SUBAGAN KECAMATAN KARANGASEM KABUPATEN KARANGASEM ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Asam urat adalah hasil akhir dari proses metabolisme purin, ketika kadar asam urat melebihi batas normal, kondisi ini disebut hiperurisemia, yang berisiko tinggi memicu serangan artritis gout, atau yang lebih dikenal dengan penyakit asam urat. Arak Bali merupakan minuman khas tradisional yang telah menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan masyarakat Bali. Alkohol yang terkandung dalam arak diketahui mampu merangsang peningkatan produksi asam urat sekaligus menghambat proses pengeluarannya melalui ginjal, sehingga menyebabkan akumulasi asam urat dalam tubuh. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui kadar asam urat pada peminum arak di Desa Subagan Kecamatan Karangasem Kabupaten Karangasem. Metode Penelitian: menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriftif yang melibatkan 41 responden yang didapat melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui informed cosent, formular wawancara dan pengukuran kadar asam urat dengan menggunakan alat merk Easy Touch uric acid menggunakan metode POCT. Hasil: Hasil penelitian kadar asam urat menunjukkan bahwa peminum arak sebesar 51,2% tinggi dan normal sebesar 48,8%. kadar asam urat lebih tinggi didominasi oleh usia 26 -35 tahun sebesar 47,6%, lama mengonsumsi arak >5 tahun sebesar 100% dan jumblah arak yang diminum >4 minggu sebesar 90,5%. Simpulan: Sebagian besar peminum arak memiliki kadar asam urat yang tinggi. Kata Kunci : Kadar asam urat, arak OVERVIEW OF URIC ACID LEVELS IN ARAK DRINKERS IN SUBAGAN VILLAGE, KARANGASEM DISTRICT, KARANGASEM REGENCY ABSTRACT Background: Uric acid is the end result of purine metabolism, when uric acid levels exceed normal limits, this condition is called hyperuricemia, which is at high risk of triggering gout arthritis attacks, or better known as gout disease. Balinese arak is a traditional drink that has become an inseparable part of Balinese life. The alcohol contained in arak is known to be able to stimulate increased uric acid production while inhibiting the process of excretion through the kidneys, causing accumulation of uric acid in the body. Research Objective: To determine uric acid levels in arak drinkers in Subagan Village, Karangasem District, Karangasem Regency. Research Method: using a descriptive research type involving 41 respondents obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through informed consent, interview formulas and measurement of uric acid levels using the Easy Touch uric acid brand using the POCT method. Results: The results of the study showed that uric acid levels of arak drinkers were 51.2% high and normal at 48.8%. higher uric acid levels are dominated by the age of 26 -35 years at 47.6%, the duration of consuming arak >5 years at 100% and the amount of arak drunk >4 weeks at 90.5%.
