Abstract

Interval pregnancy less than one year in pregnant woman can lead to complications in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and newborns. Comprehensive and continuous midwifery care according to standards can prevent these complications.The purpose of this case study is to find out the results of care given to the mothers “NA” from second trimester of pregnancy to 42 days postpartum with interval pregnancy less than one year according to the standards. The method in determining the cases is conducted by interview, examinations, observation and documentation. Midwife rearing is given from September 2024 until April 2025. The development of maternal pregnancy “NA” runs physiologically with an increase in body weight of 15 kilograms during pregnancy. Uncomplicated vaginal delivery mothers. The first time lasted for 4 hours 15 minutes, at second time 30 minutes, at third time is 10 minutes and monitoring in stage IV within normal limits. The baby born at 17.45, cry, active movements, with reddish skin and weight 3040 grams. During the process of uterine involution, lochea, lactation, and psychological expulsion takes place within normal limits. Midwife rearing is given to infants in accordance with essential neonatal care. The developmental and growth of the baby runs physiologically. Providing midwife rearing based on the standards is very important to control and detect the complications in the process of pregnancy, childbirth, parturition and the baby.
