Abstract
RELATIONSHIP OF HOME SANITATION WITH DIARRHEA EVENTS IN GEROKGAK VILLAGE, GEROKGAK SUB DISTRICT, BULELENG REGENCY IN 2018 ABSTRACT Diarrhea is an environmental-based disease. Dominant factors such as clean water, waste water disposal, landfill that interact. According to the results of the House Health Survey with human behavior plays an important role in the spread of diarrheal diseases. Ladder (2001) in MOHRI (2007) shows that diarrhea is a public health problem in Indonesia, it can be seen from the increasing of diarrhea morbidity from year to year. The purpose of this research is to know the relation of house sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea in Gerokgak Village, Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency. The type of research used in this study is descriptive analytics with the subject approach model used is cross sectional approach or cross approach. The population in this research is Gerokgak Village. The sample in this research is 333 respondents. Data collection was obtained by conducting interviews and observations conducted using household sanitation questionnaires consisting of ownership of SAB, JAGA, TPS, and SPAL. The data obtained will be analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi Square Test. The result of this research is p value 0,423> 0,05. The conclusions of the results of this study can show no relationship between house sanitation and diarrhea in Gerokgak Village 2018. Suggest people to improve home sanitation facilities and improve clean and healthy living habits Keywords: House Sanitation, Habit, Diarrhea
