Abstract
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PERSONAL HYGIENE MEDIA LEAFL ETEXTENSION WITH FOOD HANDLER KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOR IN GIANYAR KULINER 2025 ABSTRACT Food safety is a condition and effort to prevent food from possible biological, chemical, and other contaminants that can interfere with, harm, and endanger human health and are safe for consumption. Health requirements for ready-to-eat processed food include several aspects that are regulated, namely the place, equipment, food handlers, and the food itself. The behavior of food handlers in organizing hygienic food is an important thing that must be considered. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between personal hygiene leaflet media counseling with the knowledge and behavior of food handlers in Gianyar Kuliner in 2025. This study used a One Group Pretest Posttest Design research design using the Wilcoxon Test analysis. With a sample size of 46 food handlers in Gianyar Kuliner. The results of this study are that there are differences in knowledge and behavioral values before and after being given counseling using leaflet media about personal hygiene as seen from the sig. value.
