Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR MRS S’ BABY AT RISK HYPOTHERMIA DUE TO LOW BIRTH WEIGHT IN THE GUNAKSA ROOM KLUNGKUNG GENERAL HOSPITAL ABSTRACT Low Birth Weight (BBLR) is a baby born weighing less than 2,500 grams and has a high risk of experiencing hypothermia due to lack of subcutaneous fat layer, prematurity, and low body weight. The purpose of this case report is to describe the nursing care process in overcoming the risk of hypothermia in BBLR babies. The case sample was a low weight infant who was treated for 5 days and met the inclusion criteria. The report is presented descriptively to provide a complete picture of the nursing interventions carried out. The assessment results show the main complaint of low birth weight of 1,670 grams, and the thinness of the subcutaneous fat layer in infants. The nursing diagnosis formulated was the risk of hypothermia (D.0140). The implementation of nursing was carried out for 5 x 120 minutes including hypothermic management, temperature regulation, and risk reduction education. The results of the evaluation showed that thermoregulation improved with the criteria of a descrease in paleness, an increase in body temperature, and an increase in skin temperature. In conclusion, nursing care is effective in overcoming the risk of hypothermia in BBLR babies. The advice for nurses is to improve their ability to detect early and provide quick intervention to prevent further complications Keywords : Nursing care, Risk of Hypothermia ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA BAYI NY. S DENGAN RISIKO HIPOTERMIA AKIBAT BERAT BADAN LAHIR RENDAH DI RUANG GUNAKSA RSUD KABUPATEN KLUNGKUNG ABSTRAK Bayi dengan Berat Badan Lahir Rendah (BBLR) adalah bayi yang lahir dengan berat dibawah 2.500 gram dan memiliki risiko tinggi mengalami hipotermia akibat kurangnya lapisan lemak subkutan, prematuritas, dan berat badan yang rendah. Tujuan laporan kasus ini adalah untuk menggambarkan proses asuhan keperawatan dalam mengatasi risiko hipotermia pada bayi BBLR. Sampel kasus adalah seorang bayi dengan berat badan rendah yang dirawat selama 5 hari dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Laporan disajikan secara deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran utuh mengenai intervensi keperawatan yang dilakukan. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan keluhan utama berat badan lahir rendah 1.670 gram, dan tipisnya lapisan lemak subkutan bayi. Diagnosis keperawatan yang dirumuskan adalah risiko hipotermia (D.0140). Implementasi keperawatan dilakukan selama 5 x 120 menit meliputi manajemen hipotermia, regulasi temperature, dan edukasi pengurangan risiko. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan termoregulasi membaik dengan kriteria hasil pucat menurun, suhu tubuh meningkat, dan suhu kulit meningkat. Kesimpulannnya, asuhan keperawatan efektif dalam mengatasi risiko hipotermia pada bayi BBLR. Saran bagi tenaga keperawatan adalah meningkatkan kemampuan dalam deteksi dini dan pemberian intervensi cepat untuk mencegah komplikasi lebih lanjut. Keywords: Asuhan Keperawatan, Risiko Hipotermia
