Abstract

PERBEDAAN JUMLAH ERITROSIT PASIEN HEMODIALISA YANG DIPERIKSA MENGGUNAKAN METODE FLOW CYTOMETRY DAN IMPEDANCE DI RSD MENGUSADA ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Hemodialisa merupakan metode membuang produk limbah metabolik dari darah dalam bentuk zat terlarut dan air menggunakan dialyzer. Hitung jumlah eritrosit dengan cara automatis dilakukan dengan dua metode yang berbeda yaitu metode Flow Cytometry dan metode Impedance. Metode Flow Cytometry di ukur berdasarkan ukuran serta morfologi sel sedangkan metode Impedance berdasarkan ukuran sel saja. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil pemeriksaan jumlah eritrosit pasien hemodialisa yang diperiksa menggunakan metode Flow Cytometry dibandingkan dengan metode Impedance di RSD Mangusada. Metode: Studi ini mempergunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan cross-sectional, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 44 pasien yang menjalani proses hemodialisa di RSD Mangusada. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov, uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Levene’s Test, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Independent T-Test. Hasil: Berdasarkan uji Independent T-Test, didapatkan hasil sig 0.992 yang artinya 0.992 > 0.05, maka dapat disimpulkan tidak ada perbedaan jumlah eritrosit pasien hemodialisa yang diperiksa menggunakan metode Flow Cytometry dan Impedance di RSD Mangusada. DIFFERENCES IN ERYTHROCYTE COUNTS OF HEMODIALYSIS PATIENTS EXAMINED BY FLOW CYTOMETRY AND IMPEDANCE METHODS AT MANGUSADA HOSPITAL ABSTRACT Background: Hemodialysis is a method of removing metabolic waste products from the blood in the form of solutes and water using a dialyzer. Automated erythrocyte counts are performed by two different methods: the Flow Cytometry method and the Impedance method. Flow Cytometry method is measured based on cell size and morphology while Impedance method is based on cell size only. Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the difference in the results of examining the number of erythrocytes of hemodialysis patients examined using the Flow Cytometry method compared to the Impedance method at Mangusada Hospital. Methods: This study used an analytical descriptive method with a cross-sectional design, the sampling technique used non-probability sampling with purposive sampling with a total sample of 44 patients undergoing the hemodialysis process at RSD Mangusada. Data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, homogeneity test using Levene's Test, and hypothesis testing using the Independent T-Test test. Results: The analysis that has been carried out on the Independent T-Test test, obtained a sig result of 0.992 which means 0.992> 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no difference in the number of erythrocytes of hemodialysis patients examined using the Flow Cytometry and Impedance methods at RSD Mangusada.
