Abstract

ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN KETIDAKSTABILAN KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH (HIPERGLIKEMIA) DENGAN PEMBERIAN PROGRESSIVE MUSCLE RELAXATION THERAPY PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE II DI RSUD SANJIWANI GIANYAR Ni Luh Made Ariska Maha Dewi Program Studi Profesi Ners Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar Email : ariskamahadewi68@gmail.com ABSTRAK Peningkatan prevalensi DM, telah menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang membutuhkan perhatian serius mengingat rendahnya kualitas hidup pasien DM yang harus segera ditangani. Jumlah kasus DM di RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar sebanyak 92 kasus pada tahun 2024. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan ketidakstabilan glukosa darah khususnya hiperglikemia dengan intervensi pemberian progressive muscle relaxation therapy pada pasien yang mengalami diabetes melitus tipe II di RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar. Berdasarkan hasil pengkajian diperoleh diagnosis keperawatan ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa darah (D.0027) hiperglikemia berhubungan dengan retensi insulin ditandai dengan pasien mengatakan merasa lelah/lesu, mulut tampak kering, sering haus dan kadar gula dalam darah tinggi : 389 mg/dL. Hasil penelitian setelah diberikan progressive muscle relaxation therapy menunjukkan lelah/lesu menurun, mulut lembab dan kadar gula darah stabil yakni 119 mg/dL. Dengan adanya hasil penelitian ini diharapkan petugas kesehatan dan masyarakat dapat mengimplementasikan progressive muscle relaxation therapy terhadap penurunan kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe II Kata Kunci : Asuhan Keperawatan, Ketidakstabilan Kadar Glukosa Darah (Hiperglikemia), Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy NURSING CARE FOR BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVEL INSTABILITY (HYPERGLIKEMIA) WITH PROGRESSIVE MUSCLE RELAXATION THERAPY IN DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE II PATIENTS AT SANJIWANI GIANYAR REGIONAL HOSPITAL Ni Luh Made Ariska Maha Dewi Ministry of Health Nurse Professional Study Program Denpasar Email : ariskamahadewi68@gmail.com ABSTRACT The increasing prevalence of DM has become a public health problem that requires serious attention considering the low quality of life of DM patients that must be treated immediately. The number of DM cases at Sanjiwani Gianyar Hospital was 92 cases in 2024. The purpose of this paper is to implement nursing care for blood glucose instability, especially hyperglycemia with the intervention of providing progressive muscle relaxation therapy in patients with type II diabetes mellitus at Sanjiwani Gianyar Hospital. Based on the results of the study, a nursing diagnosis of blood glucose instability (D.0027) hyperglycemia associated with insulin retention was obtained, characterized by patients saying they felt tired/lethargic, their mouth looked dry, usually feel thirsty and their blood sugar levels were high: 389 mg/dL. The results of the study after being given progressive muscle relaxation therapy showed that fatigue/lethargy decreased, the mouth was moist and blood sugar levels were stable at 119 mg/dL. With the results of this study, it is hoped that health workers and the community can implement progressive muscle relaxation therapy to reduce blood sugar levels in patients with type II diabetes mellitus Keywords : Nursing Care, Blood Glucose (Hyperglikemia), Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy
