Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR MR. WB WITH INEFFECTIVE AIRWAYS CLEARANCE DUE TO PNEUMONIA IN THE AREA OF KLUNGKUNG REGIONAL HOSPITAL ABSTRACT Pneumonia is an acute infection affecting lung tissue (alveoli) which can be caused by various microorganisms such as viruses, fungi and bacteria. When infecting a person's body with bacteria, the body will respond by causing various symptoms such as coughing up phlegm, shortness of breath, fever, cold sweats, decreased appetite, nausea and vomiting. The problem of pneumonia is ineffective airway clearance. The purpose of this case report is to determine the nursing care given to Mr. WB with ineffective airway clearance due to pneumonia, in the Klungkung Regional Hospital area. The research design uses a descriptive method with a deepfreezing process approach. The sample in the case report is Mr. WB with ineffective airway clearance due to pneumonia. The results of the assessment found that she had complaints of shortness of breath accompanied by coughing up phlegm, feeling uncomfortable. The patient looked weak and restless when examined. The diagnosis of bleeding is ineffective airway clearance with effective coughing exercise intervention. The patient was given assistance for 5 x 24 hours. The evaluation resultsshowed that after being given effective coughing exercise, the shortness of breath experienced by the patient decreased. From the case report, it was concluded that providing effective coughing exercise can help in overcoming the problem of ineffective airway clearance in pneumonia patients Keywords: pneumonia, ineffective airway clearance and nursing care ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA TN. WB DENGAN POLA NAFAS TIDAK EFEKTIF AKIBAT PNEUMONIA DI WILAYAH RSUD KLUNGKUNG ABSTRAK Pneumonia adalah infeksi akut yang mengenai jaringan paru-paru (alveoli) yang dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai mikroorganisme seperti virus, jamur dan bakteri. Ketika bakteri menginfeksi tubuh seseorang, tubuh akan berespon menimbulkan berbagai gejala seperti batuk berdahak, sesak nafas, demam, keringat dingin, nafsu makan berkurang, mual dan muntah. Masalah keperawatan pada pneumonia adalah Pola Nafas tidak efektif. Tujuan laporan kasus ini untuk mengetahui asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan pada Tn. WB dengan pola napas tidak efektif akibat pneumonia, di wilayah RSUD Klungkung. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan mendalam. Sampel pada laporan kasus yaitu pada Tn. WB dengan pola napas tidak efektif akibat pneumonia. Hasil pengkajian ditemukan bahwa memiliki keluhan sesak napas disertai batuk berdahak, merasa tidak nyaman. Pasien tampak lemas dan terlihat gelisah saat dikaji. Diagnosa keperawatan yaitu bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif dengan diberikan intervensi latihan batuk efektif. Pasien diberikan asuhan keperawatan selama 5 x 30 menit. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan setelah diberikan intervensi memanajemen jalan nafas dengan melatih batuk efektif sesak yang dialami pasien berkurang. Dari laporan kasus tersebut disimpulkan bahwa memberikan latihan batuk efektif dapat membantu dalam mengatasi masalah Pola nafas tidak efektif pada pasien pneumonia.
