Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP OF PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT WITH THE DENGUE FEVER OCCURANCE IN THE WORKING AREA OF PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER III SOUTH DENPASAR Abstract Dengue virus disease including Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a bone-viral arthropod disease that occupies an important position in a series of infectious diseases that are still a public health problem. Dengue fever case in Denpasar there are 371 cases. The purpose of this study is to know the temperature, humidity, waste processing, community behavior in eradicating mosquito nest in the working area of Public health center III South Denpasar. This research uses descriptive research and analysis with cross sectional approach conducted from September until December 2017 which dilakuakn in Working Area Health Center III South Denpasar with the number of respondents 64 by using questionnaire and conducted bivariate analysis. The results of this study from the influence of temperature with dengue fever case that is the criteria to qualify for HH cases of 31 HH or 96.9% and not the case of 18 families or 56.2%. Influence of humidity with dengue fever case that is with eligibility criteria for HH case of 9 HH or 28,1% and not case 21 HH or 71,9% fulfill requirement. The influence of MNE with dengue fever case is only 2 cases of well run and 10 families are not well run cases. The influence of waste processing with dengue cases is only 19 HH cases that do well and 10 HH are not the case run well. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between the influence of physical environment and social environment with dengue fever case. Suggestions that can be submitted are, monitoring, counseling and guidance on mosquito nest quarrying and for the community to further increase knowledge about eradicating mosquito breeding and keep the environment clean.
