Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR MRS. R WITH ACUTE PAIN DUE TO POST-MASTECTOMY SURGERY AT UPTD PUSKESMAS GIANYAR I IN 2025 Ni Made Ayu Tari Wilayanti Diploma Three Nursing Study Program ABSTRAC Acute pain is a sensory or emotional experience that lasts for less than 3 months. If left untreated, acute pain will affect the patient's work, activities, and comfort. The purpose of this case report is to determine the nursing care for Mrs. R with acute pain due to post-op mastectomy. The sample of this case report is a patient with a history of post-op mastectomy who has met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. This case report is presented descriptively to be able to describe the complete nursing care process carried out for 5 days. The results of the assessment found that the patient complained of pain in the surgical scar, the patient appeared to be grimacing, was protective, restless, had difficulty sleeping, and had a change in appetite, and with a pain scale of 6. The nursing diagnosis that can be formulated is acute pain. The nursing interventions given are pain management as the main intervention and breathing technique education as a supporting intervention. After nursing care for 5x60 minutes, the pain scale decreased to 3. The evaluation results showed that the problem of acute pain nursing was partially resolved with interventions that needed to be continued. From the results of the case report, it can be concluded that pain management and breathing technique education are effective in reducing pain levels in patients with post-op mastectomy. It is expected that this case report can be used as initial data for making further reports. Keywords: Acute pain, Nursing care, Matectomy ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA Ny. R DENGAN NYERI AKUT AKIBAT POST OP MASTEKTOMI DI UPTD PUSKESMAS GIANYAR I TAHUN 2025 Ni Made Ayu Tari Wilayanti Program Studi Diploma Tiga Keperawatan ABSTRAK Nyeri akut merupakan pengalaman sensorik atau emosional yang berlangsung selama kurang dari 3 bulan. Nyeri akut bila tidak ditangani akan berdampak pada pekerjaan, aktivitas, dan kenyamanan pasien. Tujuan laporan kasus ini adalah untuk mengetahui asuhan keperawatan pada Ny. R dengan nyeri akut akibat post op mastektomi. Sampel laporan kasus ini adalah pasien dengan riwayat post op mastektomi yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Laporan kasus ini disajikan secara deskriptif untuk dapat menggambarkan proses asuhan keperawatan secara utuh yag dilakukan selama 5 hari. Hasil pengkajian ditemukan bahwa pasien mengeluh nyeri pada bekas operasi, pasien tampak meringis, bersikap protektif, gelisah, sulit tidur, dan nafsu makan berubah, serta dengan skala nyeri 6. Diagnosis keperawatan yang dapat dirumuskan adalah nyeri akut. Intervensi keperawatan yang diberikan yaitu manajemen nyeri sebagai intervensi utama dan edukasi teknik napas sebagai intervensi pendukung. Setelah dilakukan asuhan keperawatan selama 5x60 menit didapatkan penurunan skala nyeri menjadi 3. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa masalah keperawatan nyeri akut teratasi sebagian dengan intervensi yang perlu dilanjutkan. Dari hasil laporan kasus tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajemen nyeri dan edukasi teknik napas efektif untuk menurunkan tingkat nyeri pada pasien dengan post op mastektomi. Diharapkan laporan kasus ini mampu dijadikan data awal untuk pembuatan laporan selanjutnya. Kata kunci : Nyeri akut, Asuhan Keperawatan, Matektomi
