Abstract

ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN NYERI AKUT DENGAN COLD PACK PADA PASIEN POST OPRASI ORIF FRAKTUR TERTUTUP EKSTRIMITAS BAWAH DI RUANG TAKMUNG RSUD KLUNGKUNG Ni Made Ayu Surya Wati Program Studi Profesi Ners Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar Email : suryawatii55@gmail.com ABSTRAK Fraktur merupakan istilah dari hilangnya kontinuitas tulang, baik yang bersifat total maupun sebagian yang biasanya disebabkan oleh trauma, terjadinya suatu fraktur total atau sebagian ditentukan oleh kekuatan, sudut dan tenaga,keadaan tulang, serta jaringan lunak di sekitar tulang. Fraktur tertutup merupakan diskontinuitas tulang yang disebabkan oleh trauma dan non trauma. Pasien yang mengalami fraktur tertutup dapat mengalami berbagai masalah kesehatan salah satunya nyeri akut. Adapun metoda yang digunakan oleh penulis untuk mengurangi nyeri adalah metoda kompres dingin / cold pack. Kompres dingin adalah pemanfaatan suhu dingin untuk menghilangkan nyeri dan mengurangi gejala peradangan yang terjadi pada jaringan. Aplikasi dari teknik kompres dingin / cold pack untuk menurunkan nyeri dilakukan selama 10 – 15 menit dengan mengevaluasi skala nyeri pasien sebelum dan setelah diberikan terapi kompres dingin / cold pack. Tahap pengkajian didapatkan pada pasien mengeluh nyeri dengan skala 6 (1- 10) pasien tampak gelisah, meringis dan bersikap protektif terhadap lokasi nyeri, nyeri dirasakan seperti tertusuk, dan dirasakan terus menerus.Berdasarkan hasil dari pengkajian yang dilakukan, diagnosa keperawatan utama yang diangkat adalah nyeri akut. Hasil evaluasimenunjukkan bahwa kompres dingin / cold pack efektif mengatasi nyeri akut pada pasien dengan fraktur tertutup. Asuhan keperawatan pada pasien dengan fraktur tertutup yang mengalami nyeri akut perlu diperhatikan oleh setiap perawat untuk mencegah terjadinya masalah kesehatan yang lebih berat. Closed fractures are bone discontinuities caused by trauma and non-trauma. Patients who experience closed fractures can experience various health problems, one of which is acute pain. The method used by the author to reduce pain is the cold compress / cold pack method. Cold compress is the use of cold temperatures to relieve pain and reduce symptoms of inflammation that occur in the tissue. Application of cold compress / cold pack techniques to reduce pain is carried out for 10 - 15 minutes by evaluating the patient's pain scale before and after being given cold compress / cold pack therapy. The assessment stage was found in patients complaining of pain with a scale of 6 (1- 10) the patient looked anxious, grimaced and was protective of the pain site, the pain felt like stabbing, and was felt continuously.Based on the results of the assessment carried out, the main nursing diagnosis raised was acute pain. The evaluation results show that cold compresses / cold pack s are effective in overcoming acute pain in patients with closed fractures. Nursing care for patients with closed fractures who experience acute pain needs to be considered by every nurse to prevent more severe health problems.
