Abstract
OVERVIEW OF LEUKOCYTES NUMBER AND LEUKOCYTES TYPES IN DENGUE FEVER PATIENTS AT LEVEL II UDAYANA HOSPITALDENPASAR ABSTRACT Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito and is usually found in tropics and often causes extraordinary events. Purpose: To find out the overview of the number and type of leukocytes in dengue hemorrhagic fever patients at RSAD Denpasar in 2024. Methode: This type of research is descriptive, conducted in March 2024 – April 2024. The sampling technique is using purposive sampling with sample of 65 respondents. The data collected is primary data obtained from the results of examining the number and type of leukocytes, secondary data obtained from medical record data of DHF patients. Results: Characteristics of respondents based on age mostly in the range of 10 – 19 years experienced a decrease in the number of leukocytes by 28 people (43.1%).
