Abstract
DIFFERENCE IN CENTRIFUGATION TIME VARIATIONS ON HEMATOCRIT VALUES IN STUDENTS OF THE APPLIED BACHELOR'S PROGRAM IN MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY AT POLTEKKES KEMENKES DENPASAR ABSTRACT The hematocrit examination is useful for determining the total volume of erythrocytes in 100 ml of blood, expressed as a percentage (%). The hematocrit value is influenced by the centrifugation time, where prolonged centrifugation results in falsely low hematocrit values. Conversely, short centrifugation times result in falsely high hematocrit values. The research aims to identify the differences in centrifugation time variations on hematocrit values among students in the Applied Bachelor's Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology at Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar. The method used is a True Experiment with a Posttest-Only Control Group Design, conducted in March-April 2024. The study population consists of students from the Medical Laboratory Technology Department of the Applied Bachelor's Degree Program at Poltekkes Keme
