Abstract
OVERVIEW OF B3 SOLID MEDICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT AT UPTD PUSKESMAS TAMPAKSIRING II TAMPAKSIRING DISTRICT GIANYAR REGENCY YEAR 2024 ABSTRACT The management of medical waste at health centers has quite complex problems considering the limited resources owned by health centers. B3 waste treatment is an important stage in waste management to reduce its negative impact on the environment and human health. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of B3 solid medical waste management at UPTD Puskesmas Tampaksiring II. This study used descriptive methods and observation sheets. The results of the study included a qualified category by getting a score of 32 (76.2%), out of 42 question items. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the solid waste management process at the sorting stage is not eligible by obtaining a score of 4, the storage stage is eligible by obtaining a score of 11, the transportation stage is eligible by obtaining a score of 11, the disposal stage is eligible by obtaining a score of 6. Based on the results of the research on the overall solid medical waste management process at UPTD Puskesmas Tampaksiring II there are 10 (23.8%) question items that are not eligible. It is recommended that the Puskesmas pay more attention to the solid medical waste management process in order to minimize its negative impact on human health and the environment. Keywords: Community Health Center, waste management GAMBARAN PENGELOLAAN LIMBAH MEDIS PADAT B3 DI UPTD PUSKESMAS TAMPAKSIRING II KECAMATAN TAMPAKSIRING KABUPATEN GIANYAR TAHUN 2024 ABSTRAK Pengelolaan limbah medis puskesmas memiliki permasalahan yang cukup kompleks mengingat sumber daya yang terbatas yang di miliki oleh Puskesmas. Pengolahan limbah B3 merupakan tahap penting dalam manajemen limbah untuk mengurangi dampak negatifnya terhadap lingkungan dan kesehatan manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengelolaan limbah medis padat B3 di UPTD puskesmas Tampaksiring II. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian termasuk kategori memenuhi syarat dengan mendapatkan skor 32 (76,2%), dari 42 item pertanyaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses pengelolaan limbah padat pada tahap pemilahan tidak memenuhi syarat dengan memperoleh skor 4, tahap penampungan memenuhi syarat dengan memperoleh skor 11, tahap pengangkutan memenuhi syarat dengan memperoleh skor 11, tahap pembuangan memenuhi syarat dengan memperoleh skor 6. Berdasarkan hasil penelitan proses pengelolaan limbah medis padat secara keseluruhan di UPTD Puskesmas Tampaksiring II terdapat 10 (23,8%) item pertanyaan yang tidak memenuhi syarat. Disarankan pihak Puskesmas agar lebih memperhatikan proses pengelolaan limbah medis padat supaya meminimalkan dampak negatifnya terhadap kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan.
