Abstract

LEVEL OF FLY DENSITY IN THE MARGA MARKET OF TABANAN DISTRICT IN 2024 ABSTRACK Traditional markets are places that produce various types of waste and can become a breeding ground for diseases such as flies, mice, cats, and others. Therefore, flies often become vectors or spreaders of disease because of their habit of landing on various types of organic material and dirt and their ability to spread germs from one place to another. The aim of this research was to determine the level of fly density in the Marga Market, Tabanan Regency. This research is a descriptive research. The method used to measure fly density is the fly grill. Based on the results of measuring the density of flies in the meat seller's stall, they got an average of 5 individuals/block of grill in the medium category, in the stall of vegetable sellers they received an average of 3 individuals/block of grill in the medium category, the stall of fruit sellers received an average of 2 individuals/block. grill in the low category, and at TPS they get an average of 6 grills/block in the high/dense category. As for the results of the density of flies at Marga Market, the results obtained from the stalls and TPS were 4 individuals/block grill in the medium category or further observations needed to be made of the surrounding places which might be breeding places for flies. Efforts to control flies can be carried out by cleaning the market area to create a comfortable, clean and healthy environment. The advice that the author wants to give is that market managers are expected to improve the sanitary conditions of Marga Market, it is necessary to control flies further by the market managers, namely by improving the sanitation conditions of the market and improving waste management at the TPS by collaborating with health center sanitarian staff. Keywords : Market, Fly Density, Sanitation TINGKAT KEPADATAN LALAT DI PASAR MARGA KABUPATEN TABANAN TAHUN 2024 ABSTRAK Pasar tradisional merupakan salah satu tempat yang menghasilkan berbagai jenis sampah dan dapat menjadi tempat berkembang biak penyakit seperti lalat, tikus, kucing, dan lainnya. Oleh karena itu lalat sering menjadi vektor atau penyebar penyakit karena kebiasaan mereka untuk hinggap pada berbagai jenis bahan organik dan kotoran serta kemampuan mereka untuk menyebarkan kuman dari satu tempat ke tempat lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kepadatan lalat di Pasar Marga Kabupaten Tabanan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengukuran kepadatan lalat yaitu fly grill. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran kepadatan lalat di los penjual daging mendapatkan rata-rata 5 ekor/block grill dengan kategori sedang, pada los penjual sayur mendapatkan rata-rata 3 ekor/block grill dengan kategori sedang, los penjual buah mendapatkan rata-rata 2 ekor/block grill dengan kategori rendah, dan di TPS mendapatkan rata-rata 6 ekor/block grill dengan kategori tinggi/padat. Adapun hasil kepadatan lalat di Pasar Marga didapatkan hasil dari pada los dan TPS sebanyak 4 ekor/block grill dengan kategori sedang atau perlu dilakukan pengamatan lebih lanjut terhadap tempat-tempat di sekitarnya yang mungkin menjadi tempat perkembangbiakan lalat. Upaya pengendalian lalat dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan membersihkan area lingkungan pasar agar terciptanya lingkungan yang nyaman, bersih dan sehat. Saran yang ingin penulis berikan yaitu kepada pengelola pasar diharapkan untuk meningkatkan keadaan sanitasi Pasar Marga, perlu dilakukan pengendalian lalat lebih lanjut oleh pihak pengelola pasar yaitu dengan memperbaiki keadaan sanitasi pasar dan memperbaiki pengelolaan sampah di TPS dengan bekerja sama oleh tenaga sanitarian puskesmas.
