Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF URINE PROTEIN LEVELS IN PATIENTS WITH HYPERTENSION AT PUSKESMAS KEDIRI I TABANAN ABSTRACT Hypertension is a condition where blood vessels have high blood pressure (systolic blood pressure >140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure >90 mmHg) that persists; the higher the blood pressure, the harder the heart works. Hypertension contributes to damage to kidney function; high blood pressure in hypertension forces the kidneys to work harder, resulting in damage to kidney cells characterized by the presence of proteinuria. The purpose of this study was to determine urine protein levels. This type of research is descriptive research. The research was conducted from January to March 2024. The study population was hypertensive patients, with a large research sample of 44 samples. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The urine examination was carried out by the dipping swab method. The results showed that 41 people (93.3%) had negative urine protein. The conclusion of the study, in the characteristics of respondents with hypertension who are positive (+) age <45 and 45-65 years, there is as many as 1 respondent, while age >65 years, there is 1 respondent who is positive (+++), mostly female, has a history of hypertension, and has a BMI of 18.5-25.0 kg/m2 (normal). Suggestions from the study are to pay more attention to lifestyle, control body weight to stay ideal, diligently carry out sports activities, not smoke, reduce sodium consumption, and avoid alcohol consumption. Keywords: Hypertension, Urine Protein GAMBARAN KADAR PROTEIN URIN PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS KEDIRI I TABANAN ABSTRAK Hipertensi adalah suatu kondisi dimana pembuluh darah memiliki tekanan darah tinggi (tekanan darah sistolik >140 mmHg atau tekanan darah diastolic > 90 mmHg) yang menetap, semakin tinggi tekanan darah maka semakin keras jantung bekerja. Hipertensi memberi kontribusi terhadap kerusakan fungsi ginjal, tekanan darah yang tinggi pada hipertensi memaksa ginjal untuk bekerja lebih berat mengakibatkan rusaknya sel ginjal yang ditandai dengan adanya proteinuria. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kadar protein urin, jenis penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai Maret 2024. Populasi penelitian adalah penderita hipertensi dengan besar sampel penelitian sebanyak 44 sampel. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Pemeriksaan urin dilakukan dengan metode carik celup. Hasil penelitian, sebanyak 41 orang (93,3%) yang memiliki protein urin yang negatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian, pada karakterisitik responden penderita hipertensi yang positif (+) usia <45 dan 45-65 tahun sebanyak 1 responden, sedangkan usia >65 tahun tedapat 1 responden yang positif (+++), kebanyakan berjenis kelamin perempuan, memiliki riwayat hipertensi, memiliki IMT 18,5-25,0 kg/m2 (normal). Saran dari penelitian yaitu agar lebih memperhatikan gaya hidup, mengontrol berat badan agar tetap ideal, rajin melakukan kegiatan olahraga, tidak merokok, mengurangi konsumsi natrium, serta menghindari konsumsi alkohol.
