Abstract

NOWLEDGE OF STUDENTS' PARENTS ABOUT PERSISTENT TEETH AT SD NEGERI 1 AIKMUAL, PRAYA DISTRICT, CENTRAL LOMBOK DISTRICT, 2024 ABSTRACT : Disturbances at the teeth growth stage often occur in children. One of these disorders is the persistence of primary teeth. Parents' lack of knowledge about dental and oral health is a behavioral factor that does not support children's dental and oral health. The aim of this research is to determine the knowledge of parents about persistent teeth in SD Negeri 1, Aikmual Kec. PrayaKab. Central Lombok. This type of research is descriptive survey design. This research uses a total population of 55 parents. Data were analyzed using Univariate Analysis. This research used a total population of 55 parents. The results of this research showed that the frequency of parents' knowledge about persistent teeth was 37 (67%) people with the least criteria and 1 (2%) people with the least good criteria. The average value of knowledge for parents is 51.91 (less) and the value that appears most often is 45 (less). The conclusion in this research is that some respondents have a poor level of knowledge of the criteria with the highest score obtained being 45 (less). Keywords: Knowledge; Parents; Tooth persistence PENGETAHUAN ORANG TUA MURID TENTANG GIGI PERSISTENSI DI SD NEGERI 1 AIKMUAL KECAMATAN PRAYA KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH TAHUN 2024 ABSTRAK : Gangguan pada tahap tumbuh kembang gigi sering terjadi pada anak. Salah satu gangguan tersebut merupakan persistensi gigi sulung. Pengetahuan orang tua yang kurang mengenai kesehatan gigi dan mulut merupakan faktor perilaku yang tidak mendukung kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengetahuan Orang Tua Murid Tentang Gigi Persistensi di SD Negeri 1, Aikmual Kec.PrayaKab. Lombok Tengah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif desain survei. Penelitian ini menggunakan total populasi sebanyak 55 orang tua. Data dianalisis dengan Analisis Univariat. Penelitian ini menggunakan total populasi sebanyak 55 orang tua. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan frekuensi pengetahuan orang tua murid tentang gigi persistensi paling banyak kriteria kurang sebanyak 37 (67%) orang dan paling sedikit kriteria baik sebanyak 1 (2%) orang. Nilai rata-rata pengetahuan orang tua murid adalah 51,91 (kurang) dan nilai yang paling sering muncul adalah nilai 45 (kurang). Kesimpulan dalam penelitianini adalah sebagian responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan kirteria kurang dengan nilai paling banyak didapatkan adalah nilai 45 (kurang).
