Abstract
The nutritional status of elementary school children is a child's health status which refers to the condition of the body which is caused by a balance between nutritional intake and the body's nutritional needs. Nutrients consist of macro nutrients (energy, carbohydrates, protein, fat, water) and micro nutrients (vitamins and minerals). The level of macronutrient consumption plays an important role in maintaining the nutritional status of elementary school children. This study aims to determine the level of consumption of macronutrients and the nutritional status of elementary school children at SDN 17 Dangin Puri. This type of research is descriptive with a cross sectional design. The data collected is identity (gender & age), anthropometry, consumption level using the 2x24 hour recall method. The results of research with 28 samples, most of the samples were male (82.14%) and most of the samples were 11 years old (86%). Samples with normal nutritional status were 46.43%. Most macronutrient consumption levels are in the normal category, namely energy 89.29%, carbohydrates 89.29%, protein 75%, fat 89.29% and water 28.57%. Based on research, it is known that there is no description of the level of consumption of macronutrients with the nutritional status of elementary school children because the level of consumption of macronutrients in the normal category is not less than that of schoolchildren with normal nutritional status compared to elementary school children with less or more nutritional status/obesity.
