Abstract

THE DIFFERENCES HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS IN TEENEGERS GIVEN Fe TABLETS WITH Fe TABLETS COMBINED VITAMIN C IN LEMBENG KETEWEL VILLAGE ABSTRACT Background teenegers are an age group that requires high amounts of iron because adolescent girls growth and development. Adolescent girls have a high risk of anemia because their nutritional needs exceed those of other age groups and increased physical activity. The purposive of this study was to determine the difference on hemoglobin levels with supplementation Fe tablets and Fe tablets combination vitamin C in teenegers. The Method uses Pre-posttest quasiexperimental research design with control group. The population of this study were young women aged 16-19 years. The number of respondents was 44 and then divided into 2 groups. The treatment group I (Fe tablets) consisted of 22 people and the treatment group II (Fe tablets combined with vitamin C) consisted of 22 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Statistical tests use the Paired t-test and the Independent t-test. The results using the Paired t-test in the treatment group I showed a p-value of 0,000 (p<0.05) so that there was a difference in hemoglobin levels before and after supplementation of Fe tablets. The results using the Paired t-test in the treatment group II showed a p-value of 0,000 (p<0.05) so that there was a difference in hemoglobin levels before and after supplementation of Fe tablets combined vitamin C. Analysis of the results of the Independent t-test showed pvalue = 0,000 (p<0.05). Conclucions there is a difference hemoglobin levels in teenegers given Fe tablets with Fe tablets combination vitamin C in Lembeng, Ketewel Village. Keywords : teenegers, hemoglobin, Fe tablets, vitamin C PERBEDAAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA REMAJA PUTRI YANG DIBERIKAN TABLET Fe DENGAN TABLET Fe KOMBINASI VITAMIN C DI DESA LEMBENG KETEWEL ABSTRAK Latar Belakang remaja putri merupakan kelompok usia yang membutuhkan zat besi yang tinggi karena remaja putri mengalami pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang pesat. Remaja putri memiliki resiko tinggi mengalami anemia karena kebutuhan gizinya melebihi kelompok usia lainnya serta peningkatan aktifitas fisik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar hemoglobin yang diberikan tablet Fe dengan tablet Fe kombinasi vitamin C pada remaja putri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen pre-posttest with control group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah remaja putri dengan rentang usia 16-19 tahun. Jumlah responden sebanyak 44 kemudian dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok. Kelompok perlakuan I (tablet Fe) berjumlah 22 orang dan kelompok perlakuan II (tablet Fe kombinasi vitamin C) berjumlah 22 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Uji statistik menggunakan uji Paired t-test dan uji Independent t-test. Hasil uji dengan Paired t-test pada kelompok perlakuan I menunjukkan p-value 0,000 (p<0,05) sehingga terdapat perbedaan kadar hemoglobin sebelum dan sesudah pemberian tablet Fe. Hasil uji dengan Paired ttest pada kelompok perlakuan II menunjukkan p-value 0,000 (p<0,05) sehingga terdapat perbedaan kadar hemoglobin sebelum dan sesudah pemberian tablet Fe kombinasi vitamin C. Analisa Hasil uji Independent t-test menunjukkan p-value = 0,000 (p<0,05. Simpulan terdapat perbedaan kadar hemoglobin yang diberikan tablet Fe dengan tablet Fe kombinasi vitamin C pada remaja putri di Desa Lembeng, Ketewel.
