Abstract

Description of Nutrition Providing Patterns and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior for Stunted Toddlers Aged 6-59 Months in the Kintamani VI Public Health Center ABSTRACT Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem caused by insufficient nutritional intake over a long period of time due to providing food that does not meet nutritional needs. Stunting is caused by various factors in the environment, including clean and healthy living habits and parenting patterns. The aim of the research is to determine the pattern of nutritional provision and clean and healthy living behavior for stunted toddlers aged 6-59 months at the Kintamani VI Public Health Center Technical Implementation Unit in 2024. This type of research is descriptive. The research sample was all stunted toddlers taken by total sampling. The results of research on stunted toddlers are that all of them were born with the help of health workers, exclusive breastfeeding has been widely given, toddlers have been regularly weighed every month, families have used clean water a lot, many families have washed their hands with soap and running water, many families have used Healthy latrines, many families regularly consume fruit and vegetables every day, but more family members smoke at home. The conclusion is that providing nutrition and PHBS behavior means that there are more people who behave badly. For families who have babies to implement PHBS to prevent stunting.
