Abstract

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF EFFICACY WITH INDEPENDENCE LEVEL OF POST-STROKE PATIENTS IN PALLIATIVE CARE AT TAPASYA STROKE CENTER AMARANEE TABANAN ABSTRACT Stroke is one of the diseases that can lead to disability and death. In Indonesia, the prevalence of stroke is increasing, including in Bali Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy with independence level of post-stroke patients in palliative care at Yayasan Tapasya Stroke Center Amaranee Tabanan in 2024. Non-experimental quantitative research with correlational analytic design and cross-sectional approach. The study sample amounted to 68 post-stroke patients, using the research instruments The Stroke Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (SSEQ) and Barthel Index (BI). Analysis using the Pearson product moment test shows a significant relationship between self efficacy and the level of independence (ρ value (0.000) < α (0.05) with a very close correlation coefficient (0.932), this shows that the higher the self efficacy, the higher the level of independence of post-stroke patients. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between self efficacy and the level of independence in post-stroke patients at Yayasan Tapasya Stroke Center Tabanan in 2024. Keywords: Self efficacy, Independence, Post Stroke HUBUNGAN SELF EFFICACY DENGAN TINGKAT KEMANDIRIAN PADA PASIEN PASCA STROKE DALAM PERAWATAN PALIATIF DI YAYASAN TAPASYA STROKE CENTER AMARANEE TABANAN ABSTRAK Stroke merupakan salah satu penyakit yang dapat berujung pada kecacatan dan kematian.
