Abstract

EFFECT OF ACUPRESSURE POINTS LI 4, LR 3, PC 6 AND GB 20 ON BLOOD PRESSURE IN HYPERTENSION PATIENTS IN THE WORKING AREA OF UPTD PUSKESMAS MENGWI II YEAR 2024 ABSTRACT One of the non-communicable diseases that is currently a priority in global health is hypertension. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of acupressure therapy at points Li 4, Lr 3, PC 6 and GB 20 on blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the UPTD work area of Mengwi II Health Center. This research design uses one group pre-post, with a pre-test and post-test design. The number of samples was selected using a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique with a population of 109 people and a sample size of 52 respondents. The average blood pressure of respondents before being given acupressure therapy at points Li 4, Lr 3, PC 6 and GB 20 was high into the grade I hypertension category and after being given acupressure therapy at points Li 4, Lr 3, PC 6 and GB 20 blood pressure could decrease. In testing the results of the effect using the Wilcoxon test, the p-value was 0.000 < alpha (0.05), which indicates that there was an effect before and after administering acupressure therapy at points Li 4, Lr 3, PC 6 and GB 20. For future researchers, they can use other acupressure points for comparison. Keywords: Hypertension, Blood Pressure, Effect of Acupressure Therapy PENGARUH TERAPI AKUPRESUR TITIK LI 4, LR 3, PC 6 DAN GB 20 TERHADAP TEKANAN DARAH PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS MENGWI II TAHUN 2024 ABSTRAK Penyakit tidak menular yang saat ini menjadi prioritas dalam dunia kesehatan secara global adalah hipertensi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh terapi akupresur pada titik Li 4, Lr 3, PC 6 dan GB 20 terhadap tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Mengwi II. Design penelitian ini menggunakan one group pre-post, dengan rancangan pre test dan post test. Pemilihan jumlah sempel dengan menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan populasi sebanyak 109 orang dan besar sampel yaitu 52 responden. Rata-rata tekanan darah responden sebelum diberikan terapi akupresur titik Li 4, Lr 3, PC 6 dan GB 20 tinggi menjadi kategori hipertensi grade I dan sesudah diberikan terapi akupresur titik Li 4, Lr 3, PC 6 dan GB 20 tekanan darah dapat menurun. Dalam uji hasil pengaruh menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon di dapatkan hasil p-value 0,000 < alpha (0,05) yang menandakan adanya pengaruh sebelum dan sesudah pemberian terapi akupresur titik Li 4, Lr 3, PC 6 dan GB 20. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat menggunakan titik akupresur lainnya sebagai pembanding. Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, Tekanan Darah, Pengaruh Terapi Akupresur
