Abstract

ABSTRAK Data global menunjukkan kasus baru kanker payudara 68.858 kasus, yang merupakan 16,6% dari jumlah kasus baru kanker secara keseluruhan di Indonesia, yaitu 396.14. Cara mengatasi kanker, yaitu kemoterapi. Pengobatan ini memperlambat pertumbuhan sel kanker dengan merusak sel tersebut. Mual adalah efek samping yang banyak dirasakan. Maka dari itu, diberikan terapi komplementer dengan pemberian aromaterapi jahe dengan tujuan mengkaji, mendiagnosis, merencanakan, mengimplementasikan, dan menyampaikan sehingga dapat mengetahui efek dari pemberian aromaterapi jahe pada pasien kanker payudara post kemoterapi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada seorang pasien kanker payudara post kemoterapi. Hasil karya ilmiah ini diperoleh dari data mayor dan data minor pada pengkajian mengeluh mual, merasa ingin muntah, tidak memiliki nafsu makan, mulut terasa asam, frekuensi menelan yang lebih banyak, wajah tampak pucat dan berkeringat. Dengan dirumuskannya diagnosis mual berhubungan dengan efek agen farmakologi. Setelah diberikan aromaterapi jahe selama tiga hari dari skala 8 menjadi skala 2. Tindakan yang dilakukan, yaitu intervensi utama menajemen mual dan interbensi inovasi aromaterapi jahe. Implementasi perdarahan dilakukan sesuai dengan SDKI, SLKI, SIKL. Evaluasi setelah diberikan implementasi selama3 x 10 menit dan masalah nausea teratasi Sebagian. Kesimpulannya adalah dapat menurunkan keluhan mual pada pasien kanker payudara pasca kemoterapi. Therefore, complementary therapy is given by giving ginger aromatherapy, with the aim of studying, diagnosing, planning, implementing and delivering so that we can find out the effect of giving ginger aromatherapy to post-chemotherapy breast cancer patients. The type of research is descriptive with a case study approach in 1 postchemotherapy breast cancer patient. .The results of this scientific work obtained major data and minor data in the assessment of complaints of nausea, feeling like vomiting, no appetite, mouth feeling sour, frequent swallowing and the patient's face looked pale and sweaty. By formulating a diagnosis of nausea related to the effects of pharmacological agents. After being given ginger aromatherapy for three days, the results showed that ginger aromatherapy was able to reduce the level of nausea from Scale 8 to Scale 2. The actions taken were the main intervention for nausea management and the ginger aromatherapy innovation intervention. The implementation of bleeding was carried out in accordance with the SDKI, SLKI, SIKI. Evaluation after being implemented for 3 x 10 minutes, the nausea problem was partially resolved.
