Abstract
DIFFERENCES IN THE BACTERIOLOGICAL QUALITY OF MPN VALUE (Most Probable Number) OF MINERAL WATER WATER AND REFILLED DRINKING WATER IN PANJER VILLAGE, SOUTH DENPASAR SUBDISTRICT ABSTRACT Background: The quality of mineral water and refilled drinking water is very important for health because air can maintain body fluid levels. Safe drinking water consumption is according to Minister of Health Regulation no. 429/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 concerning drinking water quality requirements which states the limit for Coliform and Escherichia coli contamination is a maximum of 0/100 ml of sample. Objective: This research is to determine the difference in the bacteriological quality of the Most Probable Number value of bottled drinking water and refillable drinking water in Panjer Village, South Denpasar District. Method: This type of research is quantitative with a comparative design with the number of samples used, namely 20 samples consisting of 10 mineral water samples and 10 refilled drinking water samples with a saturated nonprobability sampling technique. This research data was collected from the results of the Most Probable Number examination with variety 5.1.1. Results: The results of the research were that all samples were negative for Escherichia coli contamination, but 4 mineral water samples and 9 refilled drinking water samples were positive for Coliform contamination, which means that the drinking water was not suitable for consumption. Conclusion: Based on the Mann Whitney test, the Sig value was 0.004 < 0.05, which means there is a difference between the bacteriological quality of the Most Probable Number value of bottled drinking water and refillable drinking water. Komsumsi air minum yang aman yaitu menurut Permenkes No. 429/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 tentang persyaratan kulitas air minum yang menyatakan batas cemaran Coliform dan Escherichia coli maksimal 0/100 ml sampel. Tujuan: Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan kualitas bakteriologis nilai Most Probable Number Air minum Dalam Kemasan dan Air Minum Isi Ulang di Kelurahan Panjer Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain komperatif dengan jumlah sampel yang dugunakan yaitu 20 sampel yang terdiri dari 10 sampel air minum dalam kemasan dan 10 sampel air minum isi ulang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability sampling secara jenuh. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dari hasil pemeriksaan Most Probable Number dengan ragam 5.1.1. Hasil: Hasil penelitian semua sampel negatif terhadap cemaran Escherichia coli, tetapi 4 sampel air minum dalam kemasan dan 9 sampel air minum isi ulang positif terhadap cemaran Coliform yang artinya air minum tersebut tidak layak dikomsumsi. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan uji Mann Whitney didapatkan hasil nilai Sig adalah 0.004 < 0.05 yang artinya ada perbedaan antara kualitas bakteriologis nilai Most Probable Number Air minum dalam kemasan dengan Air minum isi ulang.
