Abstract

THE EFFECT OF RINDIK BALI MUSIC THERAPY ON STRESS LEVELS IN DIABETIC MELITUS PATIENTS IN THE WORKING AREA OF UPTD PUSKESMAS I WEST DENPASAR ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the four main types of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), which is a chronic disease that is most commonly experienced by people in the world. Patients with chronic health conditions will suffer psychological disorders while struggling to manage the physical illnesses they face, one of which is stress. The aim of this research is to prove the effect of Balinese rindik music therapy on stress levels in diabetes mellitus patients at the West Denpasar I Community Health Center in 2024. This research method is pre-experimental with a one-group pre-post test design. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling with simple random sampling. The total sample was 31 people using the Pocock formula. The research instrument used a stress measuring scale question sheet, namely Perceived Stress Scale (PSS)-10. Test normality using the Shapiro-Wilk test. Test the hypothesis using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that before being given Balinese rindik music therapy, 23 people (74.2%) had moderate stress levels, 5 people (16.1%) had mild stress and 3 people (9.7%) had severe stress. After treatment, 22 people (71.0%) found moderate stress and 9 people (29.0%) had mild stress. In conclusion, there is an effect of Balinese rindik music therapy on stress levels in diabetes mellitus patients at West Denpasar Health Center I in 2024 with p = 0.000. Keywords: Diabetes mellitus, Stress, Balinese Rindik Music Therapy PENGARUH TERAPI MUSIK RINDIK BALI TERHADAP TINGKAT STRES PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS DI WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS I DENPASAR BARAT ABSTRAK Diabetes melitus (DM) merupakan salah satu dari empat jenis penyakit tidak menular (PTM) utama yang merupakan suatu penyakit kronis yang paling banyak dialami oleh penduduk di dunia. Pasien dengan kondisi kesehatan kronis akan menderita gangguan psikologis saat berjuang untuk mengelola penyakit fisik yang mereka hadapi salah satunya tress. Tujuan penelitian ini membuktikan pengaruh terapi tres rindik Bali terhadap tingkat tress pada pasien diabetes melitus di Puskesmas Denpasar Barat I tahun tahun 2024. Metode penelitian ini adalah pre experimental dengan one-group pre-post test design. Teknik sampling menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan simple random sampling. Jumlah sampel 31 orang menggunakan rumus Pocock. Instrument penelitian menggunakan lembar pertanyaan skala ukur stress yaitu Perceived Stres Scale (PSS)-10. Uji normalitas menggunakan uji shapiro-wilk.Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test. Hasilnya menunjukkan sebelum diberikan terapi stres rindik Bali berada pada tingkat stres sedang yaitu 23 orang (74,2%), stres ringan 5 orang (16,1%) dan stres berat 3 orang (9,7%). Sesudah perlakuan didapatkan stres sedang yaitu 22 orang (71,0%) dan stres ringan 9 orang (29,0%). Kesimpulannya ada pengaruh terapi musik rindik Bali terhadap tingkat stres pada pasien diabetes melitus di Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat Tahun 2024 dengan p = 0,000.
