Abstract
CRONIC ENERGY DIFICIENCY (CED) STATUS, HAEMOGLOBIN LEVEL (Hb) AND PLATELET LEVEL (PLT) MOTHER’S AS RISK FACTOR INCIDENT LOW BIRTH WEIGHT BABY ON BABY IN RSUP SANGLAH DENPASAR Study of Low Birth Weight Baby and Not Low Birth Weight Baby in RSUP Sanglah Denpasar Tahun 2018 ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know the risk factor of low birth weight baby incidence in infants at Sanglah Denpasar Hospital based on cronic energy dificiency status, Hb content and Mother's PLT content. This study was conducted in July 2018 with the number of research subjects divided into 26 case groups and 26 control groups. The type of research used is observational research (non experimental) with case control design. That 100% were at risk of cronic energy dificiency giving birth to low birth weight baby infants and there were 7.7% at risk of cronic energy dificiency who did not give birth to to low birth weight baby infants, seen from Hb content of mothers with anemia of 100% gave birth to infants to low birth weight baby and there were mothers with anemia as many 11.5% who gave birth to babies not low birth weight baby, of the PLT content Mothers who have content of PLT (thrombocytopenia) as many as 65.4% who gave birth to infants low birth weight bab. Fisher's exact test results showed significant correlation between cronic enegy dificiency stats and low birth weight baby occurrence with p value = 0.000, and value of OR 14,0 (95% CI 3,682 - 53,226), evaluated from factor of Hb content of significant relationship between mother anemia and incidence low birth weight baby with p value = 0.000, and the value of OR 9,667 (95% CI 3,311-2,223), and result of analysis test at PLT content the existence of significant relation between abnormal mother PLT level (thrombocytopenia). The most risk factor for the Low birth weight baby is the status of Mother cronic energy dificiency with statistical test results showed the value of OR 14,0 (95% CI 3,682 - 53,226).
