Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF HEMATOCRIT LEVELS IN PATIENTS WITH DENGUE HEMORRHAGIC FEVER AT MANGUSADA HOSPITAL IN 2023 ABSTRACT Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a public health problem in Indonesia that often causes outbreaks (Extraordinary Events). In 2020, Bali has the highest DHF Incidence Rate (IR) in Indonesia, namely 273.1 per 100,000 population. Objective: to determine the description of hematocrit levels in patients with Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. Method: this research is a descriptive study conducted in March-April 2023 at the Mangusada Hospital Laboratory. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data by examining hematocrit levels in the laboratory and collecting data from medical records. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique (total sampling) so that a total sample of 52 patients was obtained. Data processing was carried out by recording the results of the hematocrit examination, processing them, and presenting them in tabular form, accompanied by a descriptive explanation. Results: From the research that has been done, it was found that out of 52 DHF patients, most of them had normal hematocrit levels, namely 43 patients (82,7%). Conclusion: the majority of DHF patients had normal hematocrit levels and were aged 12-25 years (42,3%), with male sex (55,8%) and the highest duration of fever was on day 5 (25,0%). Keywords: hematocrit, DHF patients GAMBARAN KADAR HEMATOKRIT PADA PASIEN DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE DI RSD MANGUSADA TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) ialah salah satu permasalahan kesehatan warga di Indonesia yang kerap menimbulkan KLB (Kejadian Luar Biasa). Pada tahun 2020, Bali memiliki Incidence Rate (IR) DBD tertinggi di Indonesia, yaitu 273,1 per 100.000 penduduk. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar hematokrit pada pasien Demam Berdarah Dengue. Metode: penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan pada bulan Maret-April 2023 di Laboratorium RSD Mangusada. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder yaitu dengan cara pemeriksaan kadar hematokrit di laboratorium dan pengambilan data pada rekam medis. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling jenuh (total sampling) sehingga didapat jumlah sampel sebanyak 52 pasien. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara data hasil pemeriksaan hematokrit dicatat, diolah, dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel selanjutnya disertai penjelasan secara deskriptif. Hasil: dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapat hasil bahwa dari 52 pasien DBD sebagian besar memiliki kadar hematokrit normal yaitu 43 pasien (82,7%). Kesimpulan: mayoritas pasien DBD memiliki kadar hematokrit normal dan berusia 12-25 tahun (42,3%), dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki (55,8%) dan lama demam terbanyak pada hari ke 5 (25,0%).
