Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF URINE PROTEIN IN PATIENTS DIABETES MELLITUS IN PUSKESMAS I EAST DENPASAR ABSTRACT In people with diabetes mellitus, there is a decrease in kidney function which is characterized by the appearance of small amounts of protein (albumin) in the urine (microalbuminuria), this event can lead to diabetic nephropathy. In diabetic nephropathy the protein will increase, which is caused by several factors of kidney damage. So, do a urine protein test. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of urine protein in patients with diabetes mellitus at the East Denpasar Health Center I. The research used a descriptive survey research design with a population of people with Diabetes Mellitus in the Working Area of East Denpasar Health Center I in the 2021 period with an average of 934 visitors. The research used a purposive sampling technique with a total of 42 samples. The results of the study were 42 respondents, measuring urine protein levels in DM sufferers, namely negative 32 respondents (76.19%), positive 1 (+) 8 respondents (19.04%) and positive 2 (++) 2 respondents (4.76 %). The conclusion from the results of the study is that positive urine protein levels are the most common and occur most frequently in the age range of 46-60 years who have diabetes mellitus. Suggestions from researchers for patients with diabetes mellitus are expected to routinely check urine protein levels and blood sugar. Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Urine Protein GAMBARAN PROTEIN URINE PADA PENDERITA DIABETES MELLITUS DI PUSKESMAS I DENPASAR TIMUR ABSTRAK Pada penderita diabetes mellitus terjadi penurunan fungsi ginjal yang ditandai dengan gejala timbullnya sejumlah kecil protein (albumin) di dalam urine (mikroalbuminuria). Kejadian tersebut dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya nefropati diabetik. Pada nefropati diabetik protein akan meningkat, yang di sebabkan oleh beberapa faktor kerusakan ginjal. Maka dari itu di lakukan pemeriksaan protein urine. Tujuan peneliatian untuk mengetahui gambaran protein urine pada penderita diabetes melitus di Puskesmas I Denpasar Timur. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian survey deskriptif dengan populasi penderita Diabetes Mellitus di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas I Denpasar Timur pada periode tahun 2021 dengan rata-rata 934 pengunjung. Penelitian menggunakan teknik sampling Purposive Sampling dengan jumlah 42 sampel. Hasil penelitian dari 42 responden, pengukuran kadar protein urine pada penderita DM yaitu negatif 32 responden (76,19%), positif 1 (+) 8 responden (19,04%) dan positif 2 (++) 2 responden (4,76%). Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah hasil kadar protein urine positif paling banyak terdapat pada rentang usia 46-60 tahun, Untuk jenis kelamin paling banyak terdapat pada laki-laki yang mengidap diabetes mellitus. Saran dari peneliti bagi penderita yang mengidap penyakit diabetes mellitus di harapkan rutin melakukan pemeriksaan kadar protein urine dan gula darah. Kata Kunci : Diabetes Mellitus, Protein Urine `
