Abstract

The Effectiveness of Family Planning Health Education With Audiovisual Media Based on Local Wisdom on WUS Motivation in the Use of Intrauterine Device Contraceptives ABSTRACT The family planning program was designed by the government to control density of population. One contraceptive with a high level of effectiveness is the IUD. However, coverage of IUD contraceptive is still low, especially in Tabanan Regency, which is 38.4% in 2021. The main cause of low IUD contraceptive coverage is due to the lack of motivation of WUS in using IUD contraception. To increase WUS motivation, it is necessary to provide health education using interesting media, which is by using audiovisual media based on local wisdom. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of family planning health education with audiovisual media based on local wisdom in increasing WUS motivation in using Intra Uterine Device contraceptives. This type of research is pre-experimental with the design used one group pretest posttest. The sample in this study was 60 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The data analysis used is the Wilcoxon test because the data is not normally distributed. The results showed that WUS motivation before being given health education mostly had low motivation of 85.0% while after being given health education most WUS had high motivation of 58.3%. The test results found p-value = 0.000 < α (0.05) it can be concluded that family planning health education with audiovisual media based on local wisdom is effective in increasing WUS motivation in using IUD contraceptives. Keywords : Health Education, Audiovisual Media, Motivation, KB IUD Efektivitas Pendidikan Kesehatan KB Dengan Media Audiovisual Berbasis, Kearifan Lokal Terhadap Motivasi WUS Dalam Penggunaan Alat Kontrasepsi Intra Uterine Device ABSTRAK Program KB dirancang pemerintah untuk mengendalikan kepadatan penduduk. Salah satu kontrasepsi dengan tingkat keefektifitasan yang tinggi adalah IUD. Namun cakupan kontrasepsi IUD masih rendah khususnya di Kabupaten Tabanan yaitu 38,4% pada tahun 2021. Penyebab rendahnya cakupan kontrasepsi IUD karena kurang termotivasinya WUS dalam menggunakan kontrasepsi IUD. Untuk meningkatkan motivasi WUS maka perlu diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan media yang menarik, salah satunya dengan menggunakan media audiovisual berbasis kearifan lokal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas pendidikan kesehatan KB dengan media audiovisual berbasis kearifan local dalam meningkatkan motivasi WUS dalam penggunaan alat kontrasepsi Intra Uterine Device. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimental dengan rancangan yang digunakan one group pretest posttest. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 60 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Wilcoxon karena data tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi WUS sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan sebagian besar memiliki motivasi rendah sebesar 85,0% sedangkan setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan sebagian besar WUS memiliki motivasi tinggi sebesar 58,3%. Hasil uji ditemukan nilai p-value = 0,000 < α (0,05) dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan KB dengan media audiovisual berbasis kearifan lokal efektif meningkatkan motivasi WUS dalam penggunaan alat kontrasepsi IUD.
