MICROBIOLOGICAL QUALITY REFILL DRINKING WATER IN NORTH KUTA DISTRICT ABSTRACK Background: The business of refilling drinking water depots in North Kuta District is growing fast, but it has yet to be discovered how far the level of microbiological safety is for public health, and there is also no uniform oversight by the Public health center or the health office. That caused the depot not routinely check the microbiological quality of refilled drinking water. Objective: To determine the microbiological quality of refilled drinking water in North Kuta District with the MPN test. Research method: This type of research is a descriptive survey, with a total sampling of 16 samples. Data was collected by interviewing and measuring microbiological quality tests on refilled drinking water. Results: Based on the results of the MPN test, it showed that 31.25% (5 samples) of refill water met the requirements, and 68.75% (11 samples) were found to have Coliform bacteria, with the highest result being 240 Coliform in 100 ml of water sample. Conclusion: 11 samples of 16 refilled drinking water samples obtained positive results, so they did not meet the drinking water requirements under Permenkes RI No. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010.
