Abstract
THE EFFECT OF LOW IMPACT AEROBIC EXERCISE ON REDUCING BLOOD PRESSURE IN HYPERTENSIVE ELDERLY IN THE WORKING AREA OF UPTD PUSKESMAS II DENPASAR UTARA ABSTRACT The degenerative disease that most often affects the elderly in Indonesia is hypertension. Hypertension is a condition where systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure are above 140/90 mmHg. Blood pressure measurements can be repeated twice to confirm this condition. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of low impact aerobic exercise on reducing blood pressure in elderly hypertensives in the working area of the UPTD Puskesmas II North Denpasar. This study uses a pre-experimental research design with the type of research used is the One-group pre-post test design. The samples obtained were 28 elderly people. Statistical testing using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the blood pressure score before being given the low impact aerobic exercise treatment based on hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test obtained p = 0.008. Because the p value <0.05 this means that there is an effect of low impact aerobic exercise on reducing blood pressure in the elderly in the working area of the UPTD Puskesmas II North Denpasar. The conclusion from this study is that there is an effect of low impact aerobic exercise on reducing blood pressure in elderly hypertensives in the Working Area of the UPTD Puskesmas II North Denpasar Keywords: low impact aerobic exercise, elderly, hypertension PENGARUH SENAM AEROBIK LOW IMPACT TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA LANSIA HIPERTENSI DI WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS II DENPASAR UTARA ABSTRAK Penyakit degeneratif yang paling sering diderita lansia di Indonesia adalah penyakit hipertensi. Hipertensi adalah suatu kondisi dimana tekanan darah sistolik dan tekanan darah diastolik berada di atas 140/90 mmHg. Pengukuran tekanan darah dapat diulang sebanyak dua kali untuk memastikan kondisi ini. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam aerobik low impact terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia hipertensi di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas II Denpasar Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pre experimental dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-group pre-post test design. Sampel yang didapat adalah 28 orang lansia. Pengujian statistik menggunakan menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukan skor tekanan darah sebelum diberikan perlakuan senam aerobik low impact berdasarkan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji wilcoxon diperoleh nilai p = 0,008. Karena nilai p < 0,05 hal ini berarti bahwa ada pengaruh senam aerobik low impact terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas II Denpasar Utara. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh senam aerobik low impact terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas II Denpasar Utara Kata kunci : senam aerobik low impact, lansia, hipertensi
