Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PERMANENT DENTAL PULPITIS PATIENTS ON COMPLIANCE AT THE NEXT VISIT IN DENTAL POLY UPTD PUSKESMAS SELEMADEG BARAT IN 2023 ABSTRACT Data from Riskesdas 2018 showed that 57.6% of Indonesia's population had dental problems, but only 10.2% received treatment. Compliance in therapy is the level of patient behavior that is focused on the instructions given. This type of research is descriptive with 46 respondents. The results of this study were that the percentage of adherence to permanent tooth pulpitis treatment was mostly non-adherent as much as 84.78% and only 15.22% adherent, based on the stages of the visit, namely the most respondents stopped after the first visit stage as much as 63.04% and completed, namely as much as 15.22%, the percentage of compliance based on age, namely adolescents (12-25 years) as much as 46.15% more obedient and adults (26-75 years) as many as 96.97% not complying, based on gender, namely women as many as 20 .83% are more obedient and men are 90.91% disobedient, based on the level of education that is higher education is 25% more obedient and basic education is 100% disobedient, based on work that is not working as much as 18.75% is more obedient and works as much as 86.67% did not comply, based on the distance of the house, that is, with a closer home distance, 33.33% were more obedient and with a long distance, 87.18% did not comply with the treatment of permanent tooth pulpitis. The conclusion of this study is that most of the patients who visited the dental clinic of the Selemadeg Barat Health Center UPTD did not comply until the pulpitis treatment was complete. Keywords: treatment of pulpitis, adherence, patient characteristics GAMBARAN KARAKTERISTIK PASIEN PULPITIS GIGI PERMANEN TERHADAP KEPATUHAN PADA KUNJUNGAN BERIKUTNYA DI POLI GIGI UPTD PUSKESMAS SELEMADEG BARAT TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Data Riskesdas 2018 sebanyak 57,6% penduduk Indonesia bermasalah gigi, tetapi hanya 10,2% yang mendapat perawatan. Kepatuhan dalam terapi adalah tingkat perilaku pasien yang tertuju terhadap intruksi yang diberikan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan responden sebanyak 46 orang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah persentase tingkat kepatuhan perawatan pulpitis gigi permanen adalah sebagian besar tidak patuh sebanyak 84,78% dan yang patuh hanya 15,22%, berdasarkan tahapan kunjungannya yaitu responden paling banyak berhenti setelah tahap kunjungan pertama sebanyak 63,04% dan tuntas yaitu sebanyak 15,22%, persentase kepatuhan berdasarkan umur yaitu umur remaja (12-25 tahun) sebanyak 46,15% lebih patuh dan umur dewasa (26-75 tahun) sebanyak 96,97% tidak patuh, berdasarkan jenis kelamin yaitu perempuan sebanyak 20,83% lebih patuh dan laki-laki sebanyak 90,91% tidak patuh, berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan yaitu berpendidikan tinggi sebanyak 25% lebih patuh dan berpendidikan dasar 100% tidak patuh, berdasarkan pekerjaan yaitu tidak bekerja sebanyak 18,75% lebih patuh dan bekerja sebanyak 86,67% tidak patuh, berdasarkan jarak rumah yaitu dengan jarak rumah dekat sebanyak 33,33% lebih patuh dan dengan jarak rumah jauh sebanyak 87,18% tidak patuh dengan perawatan pulpitis gigi permanen. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pasien yang berkunjung ke poli gigi UPTD Puskesmas Selemadeg Barat sebagian besar tidak patuh hingga perawatan pulpitis tuntas.
