Abstract

THE EFFECT OF TABLE TOP SIMULATION ON STUDENT KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOR DEALING WITH THE EARTHQUAKE DISASTER IN SD NEGERI 1 UNGASAN BADUNG YEAR 2023 ABSTRACT Bali island is an earthquake-prone area flanked by two earthquake generator zones, namely the subdiction plate (intrusion of the euro asia and indo australia plates) in the south and north of bali island. Children are one of the vulnerable groups that have the potential to be affected by disasters. Children's vulnerability to disasters is triggered by the limited understanding of disasters – the risks around them, which results in a lack of knowledge in dealing with disasters. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a table top simulation on students' knowledge and behavior in dealing with earthquakes at SDN 1 Ungasan Badung in 2023. The type of research used in this study was a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-post test design and using a prospective approach. The population is 285 students. A sample of 34 respondents. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the table top simulation on students' knowledge in dealing with earthquakes at sd negeri 1 ungasan badung in 2023 with a p value of 0.000 (p value = <0.05). In addition, there is a significant influence from the table top simulation on students' behavior in dealing with earthquakes at sd negeri 1 ungasan badung in 2023 with a p value of 0.000 (p value = <0.05). Keywords: Simulation Table Top, Knowledge, Behavior, Earthquake Disaster PENGARUH SIMULASI DENGAN TABLE TOP TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN PERILAKU SISWA DALAM MENGHADAPI BENCANA GEMPA BUMI DI SD NEGERI 1 UNGASAN BADUNG TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Pulau Bali termasuk daerah rawan gempa diapit oleh dua zone generator gempa, yakni lempeng disubdiction (penyusupan lempeng Euro Asia dan Indo Australia) di sebelah selatan dan utara Pulau Bali. Anak – anak merupakan salah satu kelompok rentan yang berpotensi terkena dampak bencana. Kerentanan anak - anak terhadap bencana bencana dipicu oleh faktor keterbatasan pemahaman tentang risiko – risiko di sekeliling mereka, yang berakibat tidak adanya pengetahuan dalam menghadapi bencana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh simulasi dengan table top terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku siswa dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi di SDN 1 Ungasan Badung tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan padal penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimental menggunakan desain rancangan penelitian pre-post tes dalam satu kelompok (one-group pre-post test design) dan menggunakan pendekatan prospektif. Populasi sebanyak 285 siswa. Sampel sebanyak 34 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari simulasi dengan table top terhadap pengetahuan siswa dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi di SD negeri 1 ungasan badung tahun 2023 dengan p value 0.000 (p value = < 0.05). seslain itu terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari simulasi dengan table top terhadap perilaku siswa dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi di SD negeri 1 ungasan badung tahun 2023 dengan p value 0.000 (p value = < 0.05).
