Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyakit kardiovaskuler yang banyak menyebabkan kematian, selain mengalami gangguan secara fisik juga mengalami gangguan psikologis seperti stres. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi stres yang dialami pasien hipertensi adalah antara lain dengan terapi non farmakologi, seperti terapi afirmasi positif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh terapi afirmasi positif terhadap penurunan stres pada pasien hipertensi. Jenis penelitian adalah pre-experimental dengan one-group pre-posttest design. Sampel diambil dengan metode purposive sampling sebanyak 37 orang. Pengukuran instrumen penelitian dengan perceived stress scale (pss) dengan 10 pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat stres sebelum diberikan perlakuan paling banyak berada pada kategori stres berat sebanyak 28 orang (75.7%). dan setelah diberikan perlakuan tidak ada subjek penelitian yang mengalami stres berat paling banyak sampai pada stres sedang 29 orang (78.4%) dan stres ringan sebanyak 8 orang (21.6%). Kesimpulan hasil analisis dengan uji wilcoxon diperoleh nilai p=0,000 artinya ada pengaruh terapi afirmasi positif terhadap penurunan stres pada pasien hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas II Denpasar Barat Tahun 2023. Hypertension is a cardiovascular disease that causes many deaths, apart from experiencing physical disturbances it also experiences psychological disorders such as stress. One way to deal with the stress experienced by hypertensive patients is by means of non-pharmacological therapy, such as positive affirmation therapy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of positive affirmation therapy on reducing stress in hypertensive patients. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one-group pre-posttest design. Samples were taken by purposive sampling method as many as 37 people. Measurement of the research instrument with the perceived stress scale (pss) with 10 questions. The results showed that the level of stress before being given treatment was mostly in the category of severe stress with 28 people (75.7%). and after being given treatment there were no research subjects who experienced severe stress at most to moderate stress 29 people (78.4%) and mild stress as many as 8 people (21.6%). Conclusion the results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon test obtained a value of p = 0.000, meaning that there is a positive effect of affirmation therapy on reducing stress in hypertensive patients in the Working Area of Puskesmas II West Denpasar in 2023.
