Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP LEVEL OF MACRONUTRITION CONSUMPTION AND NUTRITIONAL STATUS WITH THE DEGREE OF HYPERTENSION IN HYPERTENSION OUTPATIENTS AT SANJIWANI HOSPITAL GIANYAR DISTRICT ABSTRACT Hypertension is a global disease and a threat to the world's population And a chronic disease . Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure above the normal limit of more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg. Indonesian Basic Health Research 2018 shows the number of cases of hypertension in Indonesia was 63,309,620 people, while the death rate in Indonesia due to hypertension was 427,218. This research aims to determine the relationship between the level of consumption of macronutrients and nutritional status with the degree of hypertension in hypertension outpatient at the Sanjiwani Hospital, Gianyar District. The type research used is observational with Cross Sectional design. Research conducted on December 2022 and samples of hypertension patients were taken by purposive sampling technique, as many as 41 people. Data collection was carried out with interview using questionnaire and measurement. Analysis statistics used is Rank Spearman. The test results showed that there was no significant relationship between the level of energy consumption and the level of carbohydrate consumption with the degree of hypertension ((p = 0.308 ; p=0.063 ) >p=0.05) and there is a significant relationship between the level of consumption of protein, the level of consumption of fat and nutritional status with the degree of hypertension ((p = 0.013 ; p = 0.00 2 ; p = 0.0 42 ) < p = 0.05 ) .
