Abstract
Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas is not ready to make insulin, or when the body cannot as expected use the insulin provided by the pancreas. The purpose of this study was to determine Dietary Compliance and Blood Glucose Levels in Type II Diabetes Mellitus Patients at Community Health Center Gianyar I. This study uses the observation method. Data collection was carried out by recording with questionnaires and interviewing the sample. Results of research with 18 sample respondents. Based on Figure 6, it was found that 12 samples (66.67%) of patients adhered to the dietary schedule and 6 samples (33.33%) did not comply with the dietary schedule. Based on table 5, it was found that 11 samples (61.11%) of patients adhered to the amount of energy and did not comply with the amount of energy of 7 samples (38.89%). 12 samples (66.67%) adhered to the number of KH and 6 samples (33.33%) disobeyed the number of KH. Based on Figure 4, it was found that 13 samples (72.22%) of patients adhered to this type of diet and 5 samples (27.78%) did not adhere to this type of diet. Based on the table, it was found that there were 7 samples (38.89%) of patients with controlled blood glucose levels and 11 samples (61.11%) uncontrolled.
