Abstract

CONTRIBUTION OF THE LOW DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN (LDL) FACTOR ON BLOOD PRESSURE IN TYPE II DM PATIENTS AT THE CLINIC IN BANGLI RSU IN 2023 ABSTRACT The ever-increasing prevalence of type 2 diabetes makes it a health problem worldwide. A person with type 2 diabetes mellitus is at risk of developing blood vessel and heart problems 4 times more than someone who’s not diabetic. The type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The research was carried out at the Internal Clinic of RSU Bangli from May to June 2023. Samples in this study were 58 samples from 136 population. Sampling using non-probability sampling technique, purposive sampling. The analysis used is Product Moment Correlation Analysis. The results showed that the average LDL was 112.18 mg/dl with Std. Deviations 40.30. The average systolic blood pressure in the sample is 140.74 mm/Hg with Std. Deviations 18.32. Meanwhile, the average diastolic blood pressure is 84.5 mm/Hg with Std. Deviations 7.38. There is a contribution of the LDL factor to the systolic of Type II DM patients with a p-value 0.00 (p <0.05) and there is a contribution of the LDL factor to the diastolic of Type II DM patients with a p-value 0.00 (p <0 , 05). In subsequent studies it is also recommended to increase the number of samples so as to obtain more perfect results. Keywords: LDL; Blood pressure; DM Type 2. KONTRIBUSI FAKTOR LOW DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN (LDL) TERHADAP TEKANAN DARAH PASIEN DM TIPE II DI KLINIK DALAM RSU BANGLI TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Prevalensi yang terus meningkat pada penyakit diabetes tipe 2 menjadikannya suatu masalah di bidang kesehatan di seluruh dunia. Seseorang dengan diabetes melitus tipe 2 berisiko terjadinya masalah pembuluh darah dan jantung 4 kali lebih besar daripada seseorang yang tidak diabetes. Jenis penelitian yaitu kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Klinik Dalam RSU Bangli pada bulan Mei sampai dengan Juni 2023. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 58 sampel dari 136 orang jumlah populasi. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik non probability sampling yakni purposive sampling. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu Analisis Korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata – rata LDL 112.18 mg/dl dengan Std. Deviation 40.30. Rata – rata tekanan darah systole pada sampel yaitu 140,74 mm/Hg dengan Std. Deviation 18,32. Sedangkan, rata – rata tekanan darah diastole 84,5 mm/Hg dengan Std. Deviation 7,38. Ada kontribusi faktor LDL terhadap tekanan darah sistolik pasien DM Tipe II dengan p-value 0,00 (p < 0,05) dan ada kontribusi faktor LDL terhadap tekanan darah diastolik pasien DM Tipe II dengan p-value 0,00 (p < 0,05). Pada penelitian berikutnya disarankan juga untuk memperbanyak jumlah sampel sehingga didapatkan hasil yang lebih sempurna. Kata Kunci: LDL; Tekanan Darah; DM Tipe 2.
