Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF OXYGEN SATURATION IN PNEUMONIA PATIENTS IN CHILDREN IN TABANAN GENERAL HOSPITAL YEAR 2023 ABSTRACT Pneumonia is an infectious disease that affects the lower respiratory tract. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2013 around 1.6% had pneumonia and in 2018 there was an increase of 6%. Pneumonia patients may experience decreased oxygen saturation. This researcher aims to describe the oxygen saturation of pneumonia patients in children at the Tabanan General Hospital in 2023. The type of research that can be used is quantitative descriptive research. The population and samples used in this study were children with pneumonia, with 64 samples. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling where the sample is determined by selecting the sample according to the wishes of the researcher. The results of the study were obtained from a total sample of 64 aged 1-5 years at Tabanan Hospital. Based on the age of the children who suffered from pneumonia, the majority were 1 year old, 29 people (81.8%). based on male sex, as many as 39 people (60.9%). most of the respondents experienced mild hypoxemia upon admission to the hospital, namely 39 people (60.9%). most of the respondents who had received 1 day of treatment at the hospital had normal oxygen saturation, namely 64 people (93.8%). Suggestions for hospitals need to improve supervision and care for children aged 1 year because they are more susceptible to pneumonia. Keywords: Pneumonia, Saturation, Oxygen, Children GAMBARAN SATURASI OKSIGEN PASIEN PNEUMONIA PADA ANAK DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM TABANAN TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Pneumonia merupakan salah satu penyakit infeksi yang mengenai saluran pernafasan bawah. Menurut World Health Oganization (WHO) pada 2013 sekitar 1,6% yang mengalami pneumonia dan pada tahun 2018 pneumonia mengalami kenaikan sebesar 6%. Pasien pneumonia dapat mengalami penurunan saturasi oksigen. Peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran saturasi oksigen pasien pneumonia pada anak di Rumah Sakit Umum Tabanan 2023. Jenis penelitian yang dapat digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah anak pneumonia sebanyak 64 sampel . Teknik sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling dimana penetapan sampel dengan cara memilih sampel sesuai dengan kehendak peneliti. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dari jumlah sampel 64 dengan usia 1-5 tahun di RSUD Tabanan . Berdasarkan usia anak yang menderita pneumonia sebagian besar berusia 1 tahun sebanyak 29 orang (81,8%). berdasarkan jenis kelamin laki – laki yaitu sebanyak 39 orang (60,9%). sebagian besar responden mengalami hipoksemia ringan saat masuk ke rumah sakit yaitu 39 orang (60,9%). sebagian besar responden yang sudah mendapatkan 1 hari perawatan di rumah sakit memiliki saturasi oksigen yang normal yaitu sebanyak 64 orang (93,8%). Saran bagi rumah sakit perlu meningkatkan pengawasan dan perawatan untuk anak yang berusia 1 tahun karena lebih rentan terkena pneumonia. Kata Kunci : Pneumonia, Saturasi, Oksigen, Anak
