Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND STATE OF HOME SANITATION WITH THE INCIDENCE OF LUNG TUBERCULOSIS The study will be conducted in the UPTD Puskesmas II Work Area, North Denpasar District Health Office in 2023 ABSTRACT Slums are settlements that are unfit for habitation because of the irregularity of the buildings, the high level of building density, and the quality of the buildings and facilities and infrastructure that do not meet the requirements. Pulmonary tuberculosis is a contagious infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which can attack various organs, especially the lungs. From the results of a preliminary survey that was carried out at the UPTD Puskesmas II Health Office in North Denpasar District, the total cases of pulmonary TB that were handled directly from 2021-2022 totaled 83 patients which were divided into several regions. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and the state of home sanitation with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. The research method used in this research is the type of research used by researchers is retrospective observational with a case-control design (case control). With a total sample of 70 cases and 70 controls with a total of 140 samples. The data analysis used was using the chi square test using the SPSS application. The results of this study are that there is a relationship between knowledge and the state of home sanitation with the incidence of pulmonary TB with a sig 2-tailed value <alpha 0.05. The suggestion in this research is to be able to educate the public regarding the state of home sanitation and pulmonary TB Keywords: Knowledge, State of Home Sanitation, Incidence of Pulmonary HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN KEADAAN SANITASI RUMAH DENGAN ANGKA KEJADIAN TUBERKULOSIS PARU TAHUN 2023 Studi Dilakukan Di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas II Dinas Kesehatan Kecamatan Denpasar Utara ABSTRAK Permukiman kumuh adalah permukiman yang tidak layak huni karena ketidakteraturan bangunan, tingkat kepadatan bangunan yang tinggi, dan kualitas bangunan serta sarana dan prasarana yang tidak memenuhi syarat. TBC paru adalah suatu penyakit infeksi menular yang disebabkan bakteri Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, yang dapat menyerang berbagai organ, terutama paru-paru. Berdasarkan hasilsurvey pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan di UPTD Puskesmas II Dinas KesehatanKecamatan Denpasar Utara total kasus TB Paru yang di tangani langsung dari tahun 2021-2022 berjumlah 83 penderita yang dimana dibagi menjadi beberapa wilayah. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan keadaan sanitasi rumah dengan angka kejadian tuberkulosis paru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan observasional retrospektif dengan rancangan kasus-kontrol (case control). Dengan jumlah sampel 70 kasus dan 70 kontrol dengan total 140 sampel. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan uji chisquare dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalahada hubungan pengetahuan dan keadaan sanitasi rumah dengan kejadian TB Paru dengan nilai sig 2-tailed < alpha 0,05. Adapun saran dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat melakukan edukasi kepada masyarakat terkait keadaan sanitasi rumahdan TB Paru. Kata Kunci : Pengetahuan, Keadaan Sanitasi Rumah, Kejadian TB Paru
