Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BEHAVIOR AND HOME CONDITIONS ON THE PRESENCE OF AEDES AEGYPTI LARVAE IN DENGUE HEMORRHAGIC FEVER YEAR 2023 ABSTRACT The Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) case that was discovered in Pedungan Village, South Denpasar District, was a case of acute viral illness brought on by the dengue virus, which is still actively spreading around the world. Cases are reported at the level of the village and the sub-district. The purpose of this study was to establish the association between behaviour and housing circumstances for the presence of Aedes Aegypti larvae in the prevalence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Pedungan Village, South Denpasar District in 2023. This research was carried out in 2023. This research is an analytical study since the results are shown in cross tables, and then the data is analysed by applying statistical tests to assess the degree of the association, as well as the direction of the relationship between the variables. The population for this research consisted of inhabitants or heads of households totalling 1,519 households. From that population, the population would be reduced once more with the use of the slovin formula, and a total sample of 94 persons would be produced. The findings of this research indicated that there was a behavioural association between the state of the home and the presence of Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae in the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever, and the value of P = 0.000 was significantly lower than the value of = 0.05. The significance of this finding was determined by the fact that this value was less than the value. There is a positive link between behaviour and home circumstances for the presence of larvae when the contingency coefficient (CC) value is between 0.400 and 0.401. This leads to the conclusion that larvae are present. The puskesmas have been instructed to constantly offer education to the community in the process of adopting PSN 3M Plus, and the puskesmas have also been instructed to encourage community participation in the process of implementing PSN. Keywords : Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, PSN, Aedes Aegypti HUBUNGAN PERILAKU DENGAN KONDISI RUMAH TERHADAP KEBERADAAN JENTIK AEDES AEGYPTI PADA KEJADIAN DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Kasus Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) yang ditemukan di Desa Pedungan, Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan, merupakan kasus penyakit virus akut yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue yang masih aktif menyebar ke seluruh dunia. Kasus dilaporkan di tingkat desa dan kecamatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku dan keadaan rumah terhadap keberadaan jentik Aedes Aegypti terhadap prevalensi DBD di Desa Pedungan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan tahun 2023. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 2023. merupakan studi analitik karena hasilnya ditunjukkan dalam tabel silang, kemudian data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik untuk menilai tingkat hubungan, serta arah hubungan antar variabel. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari penduduk atau kepala rumah tangga yang berjumlah 1.519 rumah tangga. Dari populasi tersebut, populasinya akan dikurangi lagi dengan menggunakan rumus slovin, dan akan dihasilkan sampel sebanyak 94 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan perilaku antara keadaan rumah dengan keberadaan jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti terhadap kejadian demam berdarah dengue, dan nilai P = 0,000 secara signifikan lebih rendah dari nilai = 0,05 . Signifikansi temuan ini ditentukan oleh fakta bahwa nilai ini lebih kecil dari nilainya. Ada hubungan positif antara perilaku dan keadaan rumah terhadap keberadaan jentik ketika nilai koefisien kontingensi (CC) antara 0,400 dan 0,401. Ini mengarah pada kesimpulan bahwa ada larva. Puskesmas diinstruksikan untuk selalu memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat dalam proses penerapan PSN 3M Plus, dan puskesmas juga diinstruksikan untuk mendorong partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses penerapan PSN.
