Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES OF THE HEAD OF THE FAMILY WITH HOUSEHOLD LIQUID WASTE MANAGEMENT MEASURES (Study Conducted in the Working Area of Puskesmas II East Denpasar in 2023) ABSTRACT Based on a 2022 survey in area Puskesmas II East Denpasar in 2023 in one of the Banjar Buaji, people who dispose of kitchenwaste into sewers (78%), while people who dispose of bathroom wasteinto sewers (61%), in Banjar Mertasari, people who dispose of kitchenwaste into sewers (65%), while people who dispose of bathroom wasteinto sewers (58%), in Banjar Gunung, people who dispose of kitchen waste into sewers (42%), while people who dispose of bathroom wasteinto sewers (50%). The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the knowledge and attitude of the head of the family with household liquid waste management actions in the workingarea of Puskesmas II East Denpasar. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the level of knowledge of the head of the family regarding household wastewater management is in the good category, with a totalof 64 people (71.1%). Based on the results of the attitude of the head ofthe family regarding the management of household liquid wastewater in the good category, namely with a total of 46 people (51.1%). The results of the research on the actions of heads of families regarding household wastewater management in the sufficient category were 47 people (52.2%). The results of data analysis using the chi-square test obtained an asymp.sig (2-sided) value of 0.000. Because the value of asymp.sig (2- sided) 0.000 < 0.05. To see the strong weak relationship seen from the value (CC) with a value of 0.297. To see the strong and weak relationship seen from the value (CC) with a value of 0.477. We recommend that parties related to environmental pollution prevention are expected to motivate the community regularly and continuously bycreating and implementing programs that have been made. Keywords : Waste, Knowledge, Attitude, Action HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP KEPALA KELUARGA DENGAN TINDAKAN PENGELOLAAN LIMBAH CAIR RUMAH TANGGA (Studi Dilakukan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas II Denpasar Timur Tahun 2023) ABSTRAK Berdasarkan survei di wilayah Puskesmas II Denpasar Timur tahun 2022 pada Desa Penatih Dangin Puri di salah satu Banjar yaitu Banjar Buaji masyarakat yang membuang limbah dapur ke selokan (78%) sedangkan masyarakat yang membuang limbah kamar mandi ke selokan (61%), pada Banjar Mertasari masyarakat yang membuang limbah dapur ke selokan (65%) sedangkan masyarakat yang membuang limbah kamar mandi ke selokan (58%), pada Banjar Gunungmasyarakat yang membuang limbah dapur ke selokan (42%) sedangkanmasyarakat yang membuang limbah kamar mandi ke selokan (50%). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap kepala keluarga dengan tindakan pengelolaan limbah cair rumah tangga di wilayah kerja Puskesmas II Denpasar Timur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan kepala keluarga mengenai pengelolaan air limbah cair rumah tangga pada kategori baik yaitu dengan jumlah 64 orang (71,1%). Berdasarkanhasil sikap kepala keluarga mengenai pengelolaan air limbah cair rumahtangga pada kategori baik yaitu dengan jumlah 46 orang (51,1%). Hasil penelitian tindakan kepala keluarga mengenai pengelolaan air limbah cairrumah tangga pada kategori cukup yaitu dengan jumlah 47 orang (52,2%). Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square diperoleh nilai asymp.sig (2-sided) sebesar 0,000. Karena nilai asymp.sig (2-sided) 0,000 < 0,05. Untuk melihat kuat lemahnya hubungan dilihat dari nilai(CC) dengan nilai 0,297. Untuk melihat kuat lemahnya hubungan dilihat dari nilai (CC) dengan nilai 0,477. Sebaiknya pihak-pihak terkait dengan pencegahan pencemaran lingkungan diharapkan dapat memberi motivasi terhadap masyarakat secara berkala dan berkesinambungan dengan membuat dan melaksanakan program yang telah dibuat.
