Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE PHYSICAL QUALITY OF THE HOUSE ENVIRONMENT WITH THE CASE OF LUNG TUBERCULOSIS IN THE WORK AREA OF BULELENG PUSKESMAS I YEAR 2022 ABSTRACT Pulmonary Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis that attacks the lungs and spreads through breathing air into the lungs (airborne droplet infection). The quality of the physical environment of the house that does not meet health requirements such as lighting, humidity and ventilation is one of the factors that cause pulmonary TB disease. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between the physical quality of the home environment and the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis cases in the working area of the Buleleng I Public Health Center in 2022. This study was conducted using a case control method, with 50 respondents consisting of men. as many as 32 people (64%) and women as many as 18 people (36%), in the working area of the Buleleng I Health Center. Data collection used primary and secondary data. Univariate and bevariate data analysis with chi square test and regression. The results showed that the probability value (p) = 0.000 < = 0.05, which means that there is a relationship between the physical quality of the home environment and the case of pulmonary tuberculosis in the working area of the Buleleng I Public Health Center in 2022. For people whose physical quality of their home environment does not meet health requirements such as lighting. natural conditions, air humidity and ventilation in order to make improvements by adding glass walls in the form of block glass, glass tile or plastic zinc, as well as adding ventilation and windows. HUBUNGAN KUALITAS FISIK LINGKUNGAN RUMAH DENGAN KASUS PENYAKIT TUBERKULOSIS PARU DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BULELENG I TAHUN 2022 ABSTRAK Tuberkulosis Paru adalah penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh Mycrobacterium Tuberculosis yang menyerang paru-paru dan penyebarannya melalui udara pernapasan ke dalam paru-paru (airborne droplet infection). Kualitas lingkungan fisik rumah yang tidak memenuhi syarat kesehatan seperti pencahayaan, kelembaban dan ventilasi menjadi salah satu factor penyebab terjadinya Penyakit TB Paru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kualitas fisik lingkungan rumah dengan kejadian kasus penyakit Tuberkulosis Paru di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Buleleng I Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kasus kontrol (case control), dengan responden sebanyak 50 orang terdiri dari laki-laki sebanyak 32 orang (64 %) dan perempuan sebanyak 18 orang (36 %), di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Buleleng I. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data univariat dan bevariat dengan uji chi square serta regression. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai propabilitas (p) = 0,000 < α = 0,05 artinya ada hubungan kualitas fisik lingkungan rumah dengan kasus penyakit Tuberkulosis Paru di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Buleleng I Tahun 2022. Untuk masyarakat yang kualitas fisik lingkungan rumahnya belum memenuhi syarat kesehatan seperti pencahayaan alami, kelembaban udara dan ventilasi agar melakukan perbaikan dengan menambahkan dinding kaca berupa block glass, genteng kaca atau seng plastik, serta menambahkan ventilasi dan jendela.
