Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS IN ADOLESCENT SMOKERS IN BANJAR SAWE RANGSASA, JEMBRANA REGENCY ABSTRACT Background: Indonesia's first order with the most smokers with a percentage of 50.68%. The Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA) states that the number of smokers in Southeast Asia in 2013 was recorded at 121,156,804 people. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the description of hemoglobin levels in active smokers in Banjar Sawe Rangsasa, Jembrana Regency. Methods: This research method is a descriptive study conducted in January-May 2022 with a total of 30 respondents obtained by purposive sampling technique. Hemoglobin levels were measured by the Point Care Of Testing (POCT) method. Results: The results showed that of the 30 respondents had normal hemoglobin levels (50%). Based on age, high hemoglobin levels in active smokers were suffered at the age of 21-25 years and 26-30 years. Based on physical activity (6.7%) adolescent active smokers have high hemoglobin levels, including in doing strenuous physical activity. Based on smoking habits (6.7), active smoking adolescents have high hemoglobin levels which are included in the category of having a heavy smoking habit. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that most of the active smokers have normal hemoglobin levels. Keywords: Active Smoker, Hemoglobin, POCT Method GAMBARAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA PEROKOK AKTIF DI BANJAR SAWE RANGSASA KABUPATEN JEMBRANA ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Indonesia menempati urutan pertama perokok terbanyak dengan persentase 50,68%. The Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA) menyebutkan bahwa jumlah perokok di Asia Tenggara pada tahun 2013 tercatat sebanyak 121.156.804 jiwa. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar hemoglobin pada perokok aktif di Banjar Sawe Rangsasa Kabupaten Jembrana. Metode: Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Mei 2022 dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 30 orang yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Kadar hemoglobin diukur dengan metode Point Care Of Testing (POCT). Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 30 responden memiliki kadar hemoglobin normal (50%). Berdasarkan umur kadar hemoglobin tinggi pada remaja perokok aktif diderita pada umur 21-25 tahun dan 26-30 tahun. Berdasarkan aktifitas fisik (6,7%) remaja perokok aktif memiliki kadar hemoglobin tinggi termasuk dalam melakukan aktivitas fisik berat. Berdasarkan kebiasaan merokok (6,7) remaja perokok aktif memiliki kadar hemoglobin tinggi yang termasuk dalam kategori mempunyai kebiasaan merokok berat. Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar perokok aktif memiliki kadar hemoglobin normal. Kata Kunci: Perokok Aktif, Hemoglobin, Metode POCT
