Abstract
EARNINGS OF WASTE RECYCLING COMPOSITION AND POTENTIAL IN CAMPUS AREA POLYTECHNIC HEALTH DENPASAR YEAR 2022 ABSTRACK Garbage is a very serious problem in various regions of the country, especially in big cities in Indonesia, which still have problems in waste generation. The problems it causes can include various things, especially health and socio-economics. The increasing amount of waste is not equated with increasing public awareness to strive for a clean and healthy living environment. This study aims to determine the generation, composition, and potential of waste recycling in the Denpasar Health Ministry Polytechnic Campus Area. The data used in this study are primary data in the form of observations and secondary data in the form of interviews. The participant is the manager of cleanliness in the Poltekkes campus of the Ministry of Health Denpasar. The analytical technique used is Weight-Volume Analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the waste produced is more organic than inorganic. All waste has the potential to be recycled by making compost and sold to the Waste Bank. Keywords: Composition generation, Waste recycling potential. TIMBULAN KOMPOSISI DAN POTENSI DAUR ULANG SAMPAH DI KAWASAN KAMPUS POLITEKNIK KESEHATAN KEMENKES DENPASAR TAHUN 2022 ABSTRAK Sampah menjadi permasalahan yang sangat serius di berbagai wilayah negara, khususnya di kota – kota besar yang terdapat di indonesia, yang masih memiliki permasalahan dalam timbulan sampah. Masalah yang ditimbulkannya dapat meliputi berbagai hal, terutama kesehatan dan sosial ekonomi. Meningkatnya jumlah sampah tidak disamakan oleh meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk mengusahakan lingkungan hidup yang bersih dan sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Timbulan, Komposisi, Potensi Daur Ulang Sampah Kawasan Kampus Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkas Denpasar. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer berupa observasi dan data sekunder berupa hasil wawancara. Partisipan adalah pengelola kebersihan di lingkungan kampus Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Weight-Volume Analysis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sampah yang dihasilkan lebih banyak sampah organik dibandingkan dengan sampah anorganik. Seluruh sampah memiliki potensi untuk dilakukan daur ulang dengan pembuatan kompos dan dijual ke Bank Sampah. Kata Kunci: Timbulan komposisi, Potensi daur ulang sampah.
